Saving coins

Hi, I noticed that lots of people on this site are saving £2 coins, I have just started saving £1 & £2 coins but to stop me from dipping into it from time to time (like I used to!!!) I have bought a savings can. It is the size of those really big dog food cans and it says it holds £500(although my friend had one and she got over £600 in hers). When you have filled your can you have to open it with a can opener, so if your anything like me you won't want to open it until it is really full so you don't waste the £2.99 it cost!!!
You can buy these from a fundraising catalogue called Yellow Moon, it helps schools and other organised groups to fundraise by giving them a percentage of their sales. You have to put a code in of the school you want to benifit from your purchases so try to get your local school involved or you can use my sons school code SDO1091. I hope this helps others who can't resist the call of the coins!!!
