I was getting in shower this morning and thought my waters were breaking as it was that wet down there :osorry! so I put my hand down and felt,as u do lol and ergggghhhhhhhh yet more stringy gooey messy stuff YUCK, LOADS more than ever before though, just kept coming away! I'm 99.99% sure that it definatley is my plug coming away, it really didn't look like regular discharge atall and the fact there was so much of it falling out!! I think the pressure of babys head is forcing it out,I'm sure he's moved down some more since Wednesday and is possibly squashing my bowel cos Ive gone constipated again  and the very top of my right thigh feels wierd, like babys head is on a nerve or something. Still don't believe he's gonna make a move for the exit anytime soon but I suppose at the most I've only 1 week to wait to meet him anyway (induction next weekend) and all these things that I've had happen to me must mean my body is well prepared so hopefully it would all happen fairly quick once started.

Ok whinge over!! Sorry people xxx

This sounds really positive helen....It is quite shocking how much 'plug' there is isn't it!! I only saw mine with baby 3, and I never in a million years expected there to be so much, and it just kept coming....contractions started not long after;):D

They let me out of hospital yesterday afternoon but i have to go back for further monitoring this morning so i dont have time to write it all out again :(
Will update you fully when i get back if they let me out again :(
    xxx

Good Luck, I am sure everything will be fine for you:)
Yeah I have had internals from men doctors/consultants before and I was a little uncomfortabel but it didnt bother me that much

Always - thanks,I thin I will I am going to try drinking something and laying still and if not I will ring MW

I don't mind male doctors/midwives/Hv's etc...except to say I had a male HV with ds2 and he was useless:mad: I ended up not bothering to see him as it was a waste of time, completely:mad: So that has slightly biased me against them, but I am sure there are good male health visitors/midwives out there...

Oh yeah, please get onto the midwife if you are worried about movements, they are soooo nice when it comes to worries like this, and it doesn't take long just to hook you up and check that baby is ok...and it will make you feel so much better:)

I don't even feel pregnant, apart from the fact that I have gone off most food and want to eat only oranges, crisps, pot noodles and curry:rolleyes: I can't wait for my 12wk scan to check that I actually am pregnant:o

Going to nip to Asda now as we need some baby milk (ps any of you formula feeding I can highly recommend Aptamil...and warn against SMA)

    Mel x

Just thought, are any of you doing anything for halloween?

There are no halloween smileys!

As we live above a chemist we dont have a front door, we have a gate to our allyway that leads to our house, and from the outside it just looks like part of the chemist. So no-one knocking my door. Mwhahahahaha :p

Still here :D no pains yet.

Mel- thats good to hear about Aptimil, nearly everyone I've spoken to about formula says this one is the best. I plan on breastfeeding but you just don't know how things are gonna work out so I bought a few of the Aptimil ready made up cartons just incase. Can I ask why SMA is bad?

EA- me, OH and ds are going trick or treating when it gets dark, just round our village, not too late though cos the plan is to get home in time for Harry Hill and Xfactor and the 3 of us veg on the sofa together eating the goodies weve got :D
love my little man he is amazing :j

I've moved Jack onto Aptamil - he's on the Easy Digest one because he was struggling to feed and being a right PITA during feeds. A week on it and he's gone from 90mls per bottle to 180ml and has slept for 6hrs the last 2 nights. :j

He was on Cow & Gate which was fine for the first 5 weeks but then we had problems with wind which the Easy Digest seems to have helped.
Took a good 5 days though and medium flow teats because it's a thicker teat.

EA - tonight we are having a Halloween Party, I'm gonna be the Corpse Bride and Jack has that Pumpkin suit your cousins LO has (think it was your cousin???)
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?
