My only thoughts are, I do strongly advise you to TRY and find one in a store to have a play with before you buy online.
I am actually waiting this time until a few weeks before this baby is due (although I am looking round at the mo) because I need to see how big/heavy Kai is going to be when the baby arrives and check that any buggy will be suitable for him too.

helen - I was thinking of you this morning. Love to you and your family.my_gorgeous_ellie-belle wrote: »I have just been reminded of something - can you tell me if i am out of order or right to be fuming. OH thinks i am taking the pee and being selfish.
Basically we gave an awful lot of baby stuff, including a very nice pushchair, an expensive baby swing, a baby bjorn carrier, plus furnature etc to OH's brother with the agreement we could have certain things back for baby two once we were ready (made this very clear as we spent a fortune). Well it's 2 years on and we have told them we are preg and please could they arrange anything they don't use anymore so we can have it back now to be told, oops we didn't think you were being serious and they passed it ALL on to a relative. Now we don't have any chance of getting any of it back and now we have to get everything again - more expense for usWe asked for the swing and baby carrier about a year ago (their daughter was 18mths and no longer needed it) as my brother was having a baby - they kept making excuses to delay saying they'll look for it ect, now i know why all the excuses back then
Now i am furious because we did make it very clear, basically they got everything off of us for free and took the pee. We spent so much as we were the first out of our siblings and friends to have a child, so no chance for hand me downs. Everything was bought new.
OH doesn't like confrontation so i think he is taking it out on me saying i should just let it go. He knows full well we can't afford to buy everything new again. I know we'll be doing everything from freecycle or cheaply on gumtree/ebay but it is the principle that has hurt me.
I have appologised and told them we will be passing on buying everyone xmas presents this year as now we have to rebuy baby items. Of course i will be getting most of the family xmas presents, but i'm sorry i am passing on the goodwill towards them if this is the way it'll be treated. I know it has nothing to do with it and a present should be the thought not what it is, but DD gets nothing from them for her birthday (not even a happy birthday), a cheap non-thoughtfull pressie for xmas, and we get cheap items that have no thought in them and we'll never use. I am fed up of making an effort to help and alwasy trying to be thoughtful with them - so from here on out no more.
Ok sorry for my rant but am i out of order? I mean we haven't even had an appology.
I was fuming for you when reading this - especially as you specifically said you wanted it back. my bro and SIL gave us a load of stuff but they are not having any more kids (unless the snip fails to work:rotfl:) I have also borrowed some stuff from my friend who may have more kids in the future. i have made a note what items she lent me so I definitely don't pass anything on. My sister is due 11 weeks after me so will prob pass a few bits on (just not the borrowed items).Evansangel wrote: »Oooh, ooh, ooh i think i felt baby kick tonight. Was talking to OH about something and i felt a little nudge on my inside. I went quiet and went "i just felt the baby" and it gave another nudge as if to say 'yeah thats me mum!':D
She hasn't moved much since though as i've just been in the bath
Haha, i have made a baby gift list on Babies R Us, people keep asking what we need as they want to buy a present so i thought this was the easiest way of doing it. Plus i've compiled everything i need to get so its all in one easy place for when i have money again
Also, i swear my belly button is on the verge of popping out, it seems to be stretched and my old piercing scar which used to be hidden inside is now on the front of my tummy
didn't realise you could do a baby gift list on Babies R Us. might be worth setting up. Although I have said no christmas pressies this year as baby will be 6/8 weeks old and won't care (plus we have everything we need at the mo) but next year will be a different story.....
My belly button pokes out a little bit - it was pretty strange at first.Sarah_Joanne wrote: »Good morning ladies.
Well I am off work yet again today. They are goingto think I'm taking the pi55.
Went to physio last night which was good once we got there, we kept being directed to the wrong places so ended up 30 mins late. Was lovely to meet gymfriend too
Anyway to cut a long story short I had KFC for tea but have been up since 4am initially feeling really sick, then being sick, dia woo woo and tummy ache. Feel like crap and am really tired but can't get back to sleep.
Am on the sofa so I don't disturb DH.
Hope everyone else is feeling better than me todayOff to catch up now.
hope you feel better soon.Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

Helen- just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of you and your family today. Big hugs for you and don't worry about making a decision on the induction today...give yourself a few days to think about it if you need it.
SJ- big hugs to you, hope you feel better today and that whatever it was is out of your system now.
MGEB- I would be livid too. I can't understand how anyone could do that- you leant them stuff and they gave it away....that is mental!
EA- Yay for baby kicks
Mel- I love the look of the P&T but I always feel a bit sad for the baby underneath- I'm sure that is just pregnancy hormones though!
Gotta dash as I have hair dye on my hair and I need to rinse it!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Kindof - if you find someething you like at a price you are happy with then I cant see why not. especially as you have storage space for it. I think I got my pram at 21/22 weeks.
Crap night sleep again last night. I think it's worse because I try not to disturbb OH so limit my movements. Think next time I'll just get up and go to the spare room.
Does anyone else seem to have dry skin round their nipples? I am wondering what to put on it maybe I'll try some bio oil but in the back of my mind I am hoping to be breastfeeding soon and don't want to worry about Jr having some bonus bio oil!! Never had this before.Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

Oh cool, sounds good then:) I must say my dh loved a Hauck one we saw, but I wasn't as keen.....in hindsight I was being awkward because he didn't like the first one I loved:o
I would say go for it then:D:DUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Morning everyone
I slept really well last night, prob cause i went to bed so late but
*hugs to helen* and major labour vibes to Helen and Fidget!
I think im going to go to my doctor about my tailbone hurting, it used to be cause i was sat on a non cushioned seat, but im sat on the fattest sofa and its hurting
Plus i have a mole that has gone really dark on my boob
Look at my kitten asleep last night0 -
Karen - I have dry skin around my nipples to, its very flaky
At the moment im just putting baby lotion on lol. But someone receommened vasoline for when baby is here0 -
Hi EA, don't know if it'll help reassure you, but last time I was pregnant I had a mole grow and darken on one of my boobs. When I checked it out with the dr, she was really matter of fact about it - said it was quite usual
Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'
