Morning all the weather is absolutely pants here. Got a busy day ahead need to finish striping dads wall paper, it would have been easier if the decorators had done their jobs right and striped the previous paper before adding another. Complete chancer's used polly filler to smooth between the damp proof and the old paper so we got a nice surprise of 70's wall paper yesterday(psychedelic purple:eek:) lol

Then we need to switch off the electric because the plugs are in the skirting boards, it's an old house and it was how they used to do it but my god what a fire hazard. Plus i really question if some of them were done by a qualified electrician. So that means buying and fitting new skirting but at least i can sit on my butt to do most of it it lol

Looking forward to it all, it means me and dad can spend the day talking rubbish and doing something useful :T

Off to find something to wear that still fits  have a good day everyone.

ETA gym i don't get much movement when i'm on the go all day, or at least i don't notice it. when you get home have a coke or a bit of chocolate and sit back on the couch and watch bump play.

Heya ladies, have only managed to read back over the last few pages so apologies if I miss anything important.

Jenny - well done and congrats to you and hubby on the arrival of baby Erin :D xxx

Nancmat - Same to you and yours hun many congrats xxx

32b - glad your sis was able to comunicate and seems to be improving still, am still sending lots of good vibes your way. Eeek for the decorating sounds like a right drama!

Gymfiend - I very rarely feel bubs move through the day and have always just put it down to being busy, I usualy head to bed after a hot choc and that seems to be when she likes to make her self felt :D

Kindof - sorry you had a rubbish nights sleep, hope you can catch up tonight. Also finding it hard to get to my toes now, but luckily SIL says I can have a free pedicure when ever I'm ready and all I need to do is buy the nail varnish colour I prefer :D

Always - Am pleased to hear that your lil man is getting back on track and gaining weight nicely, hopefully you may not need those tiny baby clothes now xx

Gisi - good info on NB sizes, will avoid baby gap newborn and go straight for 0-3 if I buy anything, am really itching to get her a lil hoodie like the one I live in hehe. Oh and have some Sainsburys NB and its says up to 9.9lb (odd!) tho I like the baby grows as they have the built in scratch mits :D

PP & Aless - I love your bump pics, you both look lovely to me :D

Gemma - hope you get over feeling rubbish soon xx

mgeb - glad your scan showed all was ok, its always nice when you get to see a healthy bubs.

Well had a lovely weekend at mums, its always sad leaving though. Wish I could see her more often, keep trying to convince OH we should move up there as housing is way cheaper, I could rent a 4 bed similar to my mums for what we pay for our 1 bed box! He's such a mummys boy tho so not much chance. Think I have reached my honey moon period tho, feel quite good atm and everyone has commented how well I look, hope its not short term thing tho. Right gotta dash , work ack!

SJ - where isnt it comfortable lovely? If it is hurting your knees try bringing them forwards or back a little. If it is hurting your hands go onto your forearms. Can you get a gym ball? pillow or mat / towel under hand and knees is good. If i am having a really bad day i do this http://yoga.about.com/od/yogaposes/a/zxfchildspose_img.htm It does feel a bit odd to have your belly "hanging"

It is tough sometimes so i let my gym ball down a bit and then kind of flop over it to help support the weight. Like the lady in this clip at about 1 min http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQPs7Apqiac&feature=video_response

I have a 55cm gymball which is a little on the small side for me as i am 5ft 4ins but i like it that way - mine was £18 from amazon but it is guaranteed not to burst etc and i think the pump was about £4 - you can pick them up from argos for as little as £4.99 but i dont know about the quality. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9003008/Trail/searchtext%3EGYM+BALL.htm

As others said yessterday you may prefer swimming, I also noticed you mentioned physio - maybe they can advise you better
    HTH

if you have any spg / pgp or other probs please check with med pro first

    Thanks for that :)

Don't have any medical probs just find it generally not that comfortable and the sensation of my bump hanging down feels like it's straining it a bit. Prob just need to get used to it. To be fair I was on my knees on a cusion in front of the sofa with lappy on the sofa so I could read up on here, and I did have to keep moving my arm to scroll down so that prob didn't help!! :o

I will try again when I'm just watching tv or something so I can just try to get a comfy position and stay there. I'll check out the vids later too as I'm about to set off to work. xx

SJ - we'll look a right pair, you all pregnant and only a few weeks ahead of me, and me looking like I just ate a big dinner :D

I'm a bit worried today, not felt baby move much at all since Saturday, not sure if it's just cos I've been busy and not ill anymore so not in bed all day waiting to feel him, or if he's just not moving so much? Felt a bit of movement last night so I'm sure he's ok but am getting a bit paranoid...not sure what to do :o

We'll be ok, I bet I won't be the biggest and I bet you won't be the smallest!!

As for movement I feel a lot more when I'm laying down. As other suggest try a coke or something like that and just lie back on the sofa for a bit, sure that'll get him moving.

Is there anything you can't do? You always seem to be doing DIY-ey type jobs. Wish I was like that, I struggle to put screen wash in the car!!

And weather is yukky here too, all foggy and drizzly :(

    Morning everyone :)

I am honestly to tired to be at work.
I feel sick and my stomach feels like its burning :(

We have our crib now :D
Went to collect it last night and its perfect, just need to find a new mattress, which seems impossible lol.
Mattress size i need is 400mm X 900mm if anyone has seen any online :D

One of the bolts came out last night while we were carrying it upto the nursery and the only alan key we own doesn't fit the screw lol.

Didn't end up doing the chocolate slab last night, i ate the chocolate for it hehe.
So need to buy some more :D

Hehe when i told my manager about my anomaly scan he submitted 4 hours into agent timer (the pay system we use) for the 19th october.
Well as that was my rota day off i just left it and didn't resubmit it.

Well a manager has seen it and submitted it for me and i have been paid for the 4 hours :D
    Only £24 but still, woohoo!

    Morning all

Sorry to read about the bad news people have had, hugs to you all xxx

Always - well done on the growth! Thats excellant news, after having my scare last week that baby wasn't growing well as my bumps small I really feel for you having this in your mind. Your due the day after me too.

Trying not to worry about the baby and the birth and everything now, think my hormones are all over the place LOL! Feel really fed up today, the weather is pants here too, everything hurts, baby is fully engaged so just walking is painful. I'm really grateful and happy to be having another baby but I've had enough of being pregnant today, I just want to feel normal again. Think I've been losing my plug since Sunday but know that this could go on for a few weeks.

Sorry to moan - have a nice day everyone! Xx

I'm seeing one of the major disadvantages to being single.

Anything to do with cars and people always try and make you feel they're doing u a favour even though they're actually ripping out your eyeballs.

Took my car in for tis MOT yesterday (failed on everything possible) but the brand spanky new battery is dead and won't charge although alternator is fine. Suspicious much?

Am fuming, could have had a car still til the 31st (tax) but no matter how long i drive it for, the battery won't charge and will not start straight after. So the car is going to the scrapyard :(:(:(
