Not sure if i can post it Beenie, don't want to get into trouble. It wasn't an overdose it was worse. It will affect her for the rest of her life. Recovery is months in hospital then years of rehabilitation.

Dad made me eat in front of him so he didn't feel so bad about me having to tell mum. so i am full and just trying to lose some tension to get to sleep, reading everyones posts are like an ointment on a wound. Life goes on and all that.

thank you everyone - just been trying to find the midwives number as being the hopeless mother I clearly am in not even being able to keep my son growing properly, I don't have my notes with me and I know my latest (and nicest and seemingly most clued up) midwife wrote her phone number on. I've managed to find out that the maternity assessment unit is open for self referral but called DP and he thinks I am being paranoid and everything is OK - he says he felt some kicks when he got up for work at 5 this morning (I vaguely remember him rubbing my tum just before he got up but I was half asleep!).

Have just fed him some cold diet coke and a fat tuna sandwich, lets see if that does the trick, seems mean to keep prodding my belly!

You are not a hopeless mother (((hugs)))

Fernliebee - Congrats :) WOW I cant believe we are into June 22nd already!!!!

    Congrats Musogirl and OH

Aww that was nice of the neighbour Fidget

MERFE - A Sunday wow!! My midwife is only at the docs two days a week lol

Elastigirl - LOL I bet your OH's face was a picture lol

All this nipple talk has my OH reading over my shoulder lol

Can I ring docs and ask for a prescription of gavisxon or will I have to see doctor????

And I found my first stretch mark on belly :( I need help lol what do youall use to try and prevent them?

(((hugs))) merfe, I hope all is ok

3tb - I am pleased your sister made it through the night (((more hugs)))

:( Sorry, i was just curious (or nosey!), sounds really bad though... :( So are the numpties you've been asking for help going to take her seriously now or what?

Sorry to snip your mammoth post Kindof! Just wanted to respond on the above though!

My dr won't prescribe Gaviscon unless you are having chronic problems with heartburn. If it's just for general pregnancy discomfort and heartburn then you have to buy it. I know loads of peeps on here have got it on prescription though!

I have so many stretchmarks- it's depressing if I think about it:o. I have used bio oil everyday, and I do believe it's made them less dark, but I now also believe that if you're gonna get them then there is nothing you can do. I am just very bitter as I had none till about 30 weeks and now they are growing by the day.

Sore note that within my family, I wanted to go to the psychiatrist and knock him out. And dad nearly exploded when a hospital doctor asked him why we didn't ask for help. Then said GP should have been informed of her suicidal tendencies. Volcano is the best way to describe it.

So no so far the numties don't care, Dad is under orders from mum to contact a lawyer. but that wont help my sister.

Is there anyone you can complain to 32b?

    Also, Kindof -
75-90% of pregnant womenmag-glass_10x10.gif develop stretch marks (NHS Direct) and although the factors contributing to their development is not known for sure, current thinking suggests that it is due to a combination of genetics, production of the hormone corticosteroid, hydration and nutrition

    But... http://www.supernanny.co.uk/Advice/-/Pregnancy-and-Birth/-/Pregnancy-by-trimester/How-to-Avoid-Stretch-Marks.aspx

    Evening all

three2b - so glad your sis is still with you & echo what others have said about hoping that the powers that be finally pay attention! Mental illness & serious depression runs deep in my family (& somewhat in DH's), & can appreciate a little bit how much of a toll it takes on the rest of the family - more love, hugs & good thoughts from this neck of the woods! :)

Hope all the poorlies are on the mend. :D
EA - hope your ring reappears!
EDD only 4 days away - eek! - at mw appt today my mw & student both asked if anything had started to happen yet, but think this little un's comfy where he/she is. Had curry for tea last night, done loads of walking & physical housework - all to no avail - DH will just have to suffer my attentions tonight & see if that does the trick! :o:rotfl:

Toddler now in bed, DS at work, DH out as well, so going to make birthday card for brother & have a bath (hot!) & make some Christmas lists. Will check back in later. Labour vibes to the girls in front of me in the queue! :j

Fab bump GISI! And i love your PJ's. Im currently wearing some bright pink ones with white stars on :D
And for a size 14 they are really stretchy, me and OH once got in a leg each to test how big they can get lol.

Look as this cute pic of OH and Jools. He covered him up with his coat so he wouldn't be cold :p
I hope he treats our baby with the same love lol.
