Thanks three2be, I know there is nothing that can be done but it helps to talk about whats going on, I've only told my mum I'm pregnant this time and I cant tell her about the bleeding at the minute. The news we have had recently is my cousin has just had an eptopic pregnancy and a friend has lost their 7 month old baby from sids, I dont think mum could cope with it just now and she is normally a rock. I miss the pregnancies where I didnt even stress and wasnt anxious at all, there is still another 5 weeks to go to get to the 12 week stage, it went so much faster the first and second time.0

Nice to hear from Harley..Kezia is such a pretty name! Hope you heal up quickly xxx
Squishy and Csh- the usual labour vibes to you both..sounds like they are working for Squish- she must be stealing them all :rotfl:
FattyBoo- your bump is so neat and tiny..I feel like a huge whale now, and Im only 2 weeks ahead of you!
SJ and Nickkit- you also have a nice neat little bumps! (gorgeous wedding pics by the way SJ!)
I seem to be getting bigger by the day now! I was told by lots of people that between 25-32weeks I hardly changed atall, but since then I suddenly ballooned! 3weeks 3 days to D day and it can't come soon enough, I hope Im one of the lucky ones that go at 37-38 weeks-so anytime after Wednesday is fine by me, next weekend would be nice.
Weve been busy today- weve moved our dining table into the conservatory so the birth pool can go in it's place, but before it does weve (or hubby has lol) cleaned skirting boards down and gave them a lick of paint. But now Ive got the painting bug and want to repaint the whole kitchen :rotfl:hubby is not impressed, says no way but I always get my own way
Weezl- yes, twas I who was asking about taking more than the RDA of calcium. I have done abit of research myself and found that it isn't too harmful, as in life threatening, but it may cause upset stomach. I'm just going to take 2 a day (so 1200mg) untill I start labour, then up it to 1800mg. Oh and yep, I have my tens machine, got the elle tens one as it was recommended highly to me. I was gonna hire it but in the end decided to buy it as Ive heard it can be used for the afterpains. I'll just ebay it when Im done with it,along with my 2 birth pools and wardrobe full of maternity clobber!love my little man he is amazing :j0 -
Hugs for the ladies who are having spotting. I had it with Fergus and remember feeling very worried
Could I please ask for some advice from ladies at 7 months ish plus?
I've been feeling the need to do more mum and baby activities with Fergie in the day. I can go to 2 activities a day and walk around 3-5 miles per day. ie a total of 1.5-2 hrs walking a day but broken up into little chunks.
Do you think this will be do-able still when I'm 7-9 months PG.
Interested in all thoughts really!
Also, have asked this too on the parent thread, I'll be spending £10-£15 a week on the activities. Does this sound reasonable?
Thanks for any thoughts/opinions

Congrats Harley - can't wait to see the pics of little Kezia.
I love your wedding pics Sarah Joanne - would honestly have never have guessed that you're pregnant, you look amazing
Lauralou - try not to worry about the brown discharge but keep an eye on it. I had brown discharge/spotting for a week when I was 5 weeks pregnant. I looked online and decided it was normal but did mention it to both the dr and midwife. They put the frighteners on me and said if it happened again, not matter how small, I should go to a & e to get checked out.
It happened again last Sunday (8wks) so I decided to go to a & e last mon. I'd had very few symptoms so was quite worried for that reason also. I was worried I'd be told off for making a fuss but everyone at the hospital was very helpful and understanding. A & E referred us to the early pregnancy unit who sorted out a scan for us. It was such a relief to see bubs and hear its heartbeat.
I would definitely advise you and Merfe to go to a & e if you are worried as it put my mind at rest totally, in fact I didnt realise how stressed I had been feeling since week 5 until I got up Tuesday morning and realised how relaxed I was.
Keeping everything crossed for you both xxxMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -

weezl - it might just because I'm outta shape, but the thought of walking that much makes me tired right now! It also would take longer to get places as you have to walk slower. You don't want to push yourself TOO much especially as you still need the energy to take care of Fergie!
P.S. Picture was ADORABLE. You're making me so broody!!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!

Nothing much going on here. Went to a wedding reception last night where MIL was a bit tipsy and therefore getting all teary about the baby. I'm not sure if this is just me or a normal pregnancy thing, but I feel really strongly about not wanting to 'share' the baby with anyone straight away...like I want to have a chance for it to be just me, DH and the baby to feel like a little family for a little while (few days maybe) before anyone else gets to see him/her. DH agrees but I'm wondering if this possessiveness is our personalities or something more hormonal?? It's nothing against ILs personally b/c I would feel the same if my family were close by (rather than 4000 miles away). Who knows, I might even feel differently when the baby actually comes, y'know?
Yeah I am like that, I want OH, me and babybean to chill out just the 3 of us for a while before everyone starts coming
But part of me thinks that just isn't going to happen lol
And I am hoping once the initial "oh my god" from everyone is over in like a few weeks we will get our little family time?
Sj - your wedding photos are lovelyyou look lovely in your dress, and you totally can't see tic tac
EA - I got my blue black out blind from argos and it was smashing and not expensive, I cant remember how the measurements go though lol
Gymfiend - Well done for getting £200 at carboots over two sundays and £50 on ebay, I listed 15 things on ebay yesterday for 7 days and some have quite a few watchers on which is great and some bids already yay lol
I am loving the bump pics
WOW SJ you have sprung a bump since the wedding lol I am loving your bump, its a lovely bump, I am 17+6 and I think mine still looks fat lol it looks like a bump in clothes lol but I couldjust be fat if you saw my bump nekid lol
LauraLou - I too had brown discharge around that time and it turned out all ok, I think its just your body getting rid of old blood? if you are concerned though you need to go to docs or call your midwife if you have one?
SJ - Awww your 20 week scan is lush, did you ask the flavour?
Question RE 20 week scan, at the 12 week scan midwife practically pulled my pants down all the way lol will she be going that low down this time? basically do I need to make sure I am trimmed lol
Weezl - Little Fergus is totally lush(ps I am blonde so bare with me, but are you pregnant now? or are you just watching over us like glam lol)

Ooh you've reminded me, I need to order a Tens machine Helen! I think I'm going to buy as well, as they seem to fetch a good price on eBay.
Weezl- I couldn't honestly manage that much walking now, at 36 weeks. Before I was pregnant I used to walk a fair bit as we live quite close to town, but now I find it makes my back too sore and I'm just too tired! I actually can't wait to get back to it! I think I could probably have managed it up until about 32 weeks, if that helps
Fab pic of Fergus. He is such a cutey!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Its funny Helen cos I want to feel huger!! Mind u I think I do look a lot heavier in some of the looser clothes I wear. I keep thinking one day I am suddenly going to notice that I look proper heavily pregnant but so far it doesnt seem to be happening!! I have been eating whatever I want too, although seem to start feeling ill if I eat too much. Think I have just been lucky this time.
Weezl - That is a totally gorgeous pic of Fergie, he looks so perfect!! I love that we have had lots of bump and baby pix lately
