Not sure if they do many cocktails - can't see any mention of a red witch or black russian anywhere on their site.
The Standing Order is central and will be easy to find - George Street is fairly quiet compared to the other main roads and is away from the roadworks on Princes Street so will not be too noisy or dusty.

Sorry to say, but the park will be locked at night and probably have lots of kiosks in so less benches.
Unless you want to stay in a hostel, prices will start from around £25 depending on how far out you go and if you need a single or twin room. Not sure if there are people willing to share - otherwise you may want to take a look at the hostels (no idea about them though)
This site provides maps, distance to centre and can be shown in price order.

Looks like the Standing Order is a good bet, and those of us who want to spend most of the day there (Me? Surely not...) can eat cheaply too as they do two meals for about £7 if memory serves.
I hope they do French Martini (Possibly the yummiest cocktail ever!) but am honestly going to be good and sober. Honest.
I'm working at 4am on the Sunday :eek:0 -
