Isa's all over the place

Hello all

I would like to know if my way of thinking is correct.

I have 4 cash isa’s that end at several points in the same year, if I leave them past their end date, they go into a variable isa ?.Can I wait until the last one ends and transfer the full total into a new fixed rate Isa.and also add in the Isa allowance for this year . I want to do this for two reasons so I can take advantage of the higher rate given for over 15k, and also to tidy up my accounts.

Yes, providing the new ISA provider accepts transfers in.
I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.

You don't have to wait until the last one ends, you could transfer each, as it matures, into a new Cash ISA (that accepts ISA transfers) into which you have paid this year's allowance then transfer that ISA to the Fixed Rate ISA that requires >15k.

Thank you both for your answers .I will look around to see what the best bet is for this years allowance ,stick it in the one that is best that alows transfers ,transfer the fixed ones in as they end ,then after the final one has ended and is transfered ,fix it .

Once again thanks cos I was at the least confused
