what mobile phone to get??

Was just called today from t mobile asking if i wanted an upgrade my contract ends on mid dec and i think you need to ask for a upgrade a month before then or before the contract is up,well they called me today and it just was not the right time to talk with them at this time,i said can you call me back on monday and we can talk more then.

I would only be interested if i was paying the same monthly costs,and for another 12 months then i be interested and if i can pick any phone,i have a nokia n96 right now and really it does not bother me what phone i have as long as its pretty much up there as one of the most wanted phones,does lots and its included in my upgrade,i was thinking nokia 97 is this any good or any different to what i have,or what others is there thats a very good phone as when they call back i want to see what they can offer me or ask them for.

Networks don't usually call people like this, partly as they'd be happy enough for people to stay on their current tariff without a new phone or a discount.

Plenty of independent dealers obtain lists of roughly when new number batches were issued, then random call people and try to pass themselves off as the network itself.

Did these people know your name and your current tariff?

I would advise against the N97, similar rep to the N95. There seems to be lots of common faults. There seems to be few people getting the samsung jet, iphone, nokia 5800 and one/two of the latest sony erricision incarnations.

I was rung up by vodafone early, so it could be t-mobile but i would check. Better deals thou will usually come in the last 30 days of the contract if you request a PAC code. As you speak to retentions not upgrades department.

cant remember if they said my name,i was just not interested in talking with them at that time and said to call back on monday,so looks like i am maybe best keep away they did say i was a high user,good customer thats about all they got to say to me.i asked when my contract was up as i had forgot when the date was and they told me
