Changed Sky+ box, remote not working with 2nd TV

Hi
My sky plus box stopped working last night and as we are out of warranty we have borrowed a box of a friend.
We have connected the box, switched on the RF2 settings etc. The remote control operates the main TV & box but will not operate with the second TV upstairs.
The upstairs tv has pic & sound plus the magic eye has red light illuminated. We have plugged the magic eye into the sky box and it operates ok with both remotes so am not sure where to go or what to try next
Im wondering if I maybe need to reset the remote controls?
