There is a ? that appears at the bottom of the screen from time to time, click that for a clue. Later in each challange, it will appear with a 2nd clue. Some of the clues dissappear after a few secconds so its worthwhile having the "print screen" key handy and then paste the screenshot into paint or something. This is especially applicable for the clue for the building blocks task.

Thanks to this advice I've just cracked the blueprint. Would never have got them all in the correct order if I hadn't printed the screen! Most recent wins: IPad, Jamie Magazine yearbook, Links of London friendship bracelet, Baumatic ice cream machine! :j0 -
I am also stuck on the blueprint - The piece where the roofs meet up is piece number 11. Think I might take a screenshot when the numbers flash up, coz it's doing my head in.0

On the blue print, first put the roof join together, then put the writing together, then its generally one round window, two square windows, but watch the pattern that the ground floor arched openings make.;)
My question was which famous French writer lived at 6 Place des Vosges?
Answer: Victor Hugo
But I can't do the slide puzzle!!!!!!!!If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.0 -

As far as I remember as soon as you get 'Royal' on one circle and 'Mile' on the other you have completed the puzzle.
You will notice that there are other combinations, e.g. Oxford Street, Kings Cross but I think that the object is to find a location not in London?
As soon as you line up one circle you then have to line up the other by clicking the ornamental rose in the centre before you start to spin or else you will lose your first word.
Does that help, whitty? I hope I've explained it OK?0 -
I can't make sense of the circle one with the letters. the letters don't move..all that happens is that clicking the outer circle and the rose pin in the middle makes the first spin the cogs and the second go up and down.!!
What exactly am I supposed to be clicking ???????????"Sumptus censum ne superet"
Mental blocks are just hurdles to overcome in life.

The problem with the Eurostar comp is that you can't go back in to see the puzzle like you could with the Google one but as far as I can remember...
I think you have to get the inner wheel to say mile so keep clicking/dragging to get those letters to show....
Then click on the rose in the centre which seems to lock this first inner wheel then you can click/drag the outer wheel to get the letters to show Royal.
This might be in reverse! i.e. you might have to do the outer wheel first then 'lock' with the rose then do the inner wheel.
I hope that's the right way for you!0 -
lol this got me too - till accident - if you place the cursor over one of the clogs - hold down the left button of mouse, then you can move the clog. By clicking the pin in the middle determins which clog you turn i.e you need to spell mile in the inner clog first, then i think its royal on the outer clog - leaving the word mile on the inner clog there. Does that make sense?? lol0
