the things is the normal puzzles were "too" hard and didnt actually count towards anything. You can't cheat on the cryptexes which actually have an effect on the prizes

How the hell did people get 2:27 etc? How many attempts was that with?

Am I right that its fewest attempts that counts most and then the times for people who had same number of attempts?!

Went really slow and woudn't stop on the numbers properly for me still trying on 42 minutes!!!!!!!!!!LOL

Been waiting to do the final puzzle. Shame that all the prize puzzles were effectively the same ("cryptex mastermind"), it would have been nice to see some variation.

To answer the query, yes its the number of attempts that counts first, and then the speed. Otherwise it's just a test of speed with the mouse. There's a lot of luck involved of course. On my last go I hit 3 greens straight off. Finished in 5 attempts (4:33). You really quick guys - how many attempts did you have?

no i think you are confusing attempts at solving the puzzle with attempts required to solve each puzzle ie. it may take you 7 clicks/guesses to solve the puzzle and you can try a total of 3 times. how many guesses for your time?

I have just completed the last puzzle- my best entry was 4 attempts with a time of just over 6 mins. Not too sure if that is any good :shrug:
