October 2010 brides (and grooms!)

My thing is the opposite to you to - I'm 5ft 3 he's only 5ft 7! My heels make me about the same height as him (if not slightly taller!)

I bought my flowers yesterday - having wooden roses so I can hav exactly what I want - they will match my cake topper!

Bought underwear - have not been able to find any I like (or any boxers for the OH where small is actually small and not clown like!)

Booked a coach trip (one night at a Christmas market) as a honeymoon - will go some where properly in February half term but can't take time off when you work in school:(

All in all yesterday was rather productive! I have six weeks (yesterday) left - really feel I have missed something out!

Oh you have just reminded me I have a pair of white wedges with diamante over the band at the front which I could wear in the evening!! They have a raffia heel (you know the beige wicker type stuff) but nobody would see that would they? They're really comfy too, but high so my dress wouldn't drag on the floor! Thanks for mentioning wedges!! :T:T

go for it shell, thats why i bought wedges, cos i tried walking in my dress with lower shoes and it really didnt work on carpet. and no nobody will see them, and if they do its going to be the end of the night anyway.

band has come back and said they would be delighted to have steven sing with them!!! wooo so excited now its going to be so special to me to have home sing and finally sorts out first dance

You lot think you have problems??? I am 5ft 7" and OH is 5ft 6.5" AND I am wearing heels, poor sod is going to look like a hobbit! :rotfl:

I don't see it as a problem - he does sometimes though! When shopping for his shoes he refused to have shoes with thin soles - plus the ones he has bought will be ok for work - just so I could have heels and not tower over him!

Have never even thought about height until I went shoe shopping - we been together almost 6 and 1/2 years! :rotfl:

Gutted!! Magician phoned to cancel, he's moved to Spain. He offered to get someone else but I said no, I really liked him and he was very funny. Lovely apology and sending deposit back. Can't blame him for escaping to Spain, I would if I could!!
