well i have been to see my florist tonight and got all the flowers booked. I am having white roses and thistles with all the glitter and crystals and bridesmaids having same but smalller.

With any luck, my OH is going to ask his mate tomorrow whether he'll be his best man. Only taken him 4 months (it was an ultimatum I gave him at the end of 09. ). Plus, I finally got round to booking the cake appointment. We're having cupcakes!

Next will be to get the invites ordered. Been working on numbers.

Hi everyone, haven't updated this for a while, I got my dress at the end of Jan and its perfect!!! plus there was £200 off it! And since we already hired the boys suits from the same company they'll knock £50 off the cost of the suits

My dress can be taken in up to 3 dress sizes, apparently so I can still (try!) lose weight! Losing weight hasn't quite been going to plan and to top it off I sprained my knee 2 weeks ago and am on crutches BUT it means I have spent loads more time on here and looking at ideas

I've just spoke to the lady who dresses our reception venue and snapped her up, she'll dress the room with everything we wanted and more and its £200!!! Means I don't have the hassle of organising a friend/relative to do it!! We've also decided on the flowers that were having. Think that's about it for now...

Oh and my little sister and friend are cracking on with the hen-night preparations although I'm not allowed to know what happening.....hhhmmmmmmm

Tried daughters dress on, praying she doesn't get any taller as it already shows her toes, much to her disgust!
Plus the bolero I bought for me, before Linda stepped in to make me what I really wanted, doesn't go with duaghters dress
Now have a Alfred Angelo bolero going spare!!

Well, potential best man might be moving to Oxford at the end of the month! Lovely.

Gr. Oh well. Can't be helped if he does. OH didn't get round to asking him though. Think he felt a bit shy about it. Bless.

Possibly found two bridesmaid dresses for OH little sis (who at 13 is now 3 inches taller than me and having a growth spurt like your daughter Franny) and my adult bridesmaid who is miles taller than me (but at 4"11, who isn't taller than me?).

Oh well.
