    Ahem, thanks GC, but I wouldn't go that far :rolleyes:, is why I'm still on this thread!! I'm still drinking too much overall, it's just that in the short term I think what I'm doing at the mo is better for me than the constant see-sawing between all or nothing, on the basis that the "all" was so much more frequent than the "nothing"!

    I think that maybe my general approach / attitude to alcohol is improving but the problem is still there - I still can't be relaxed about the prospect of an af day, my life on a daily basis still centres too much around having a drink, and my overall levels of consumption are still too high. The next stage is to try & introduce some af days without having a binge either the day before or the day after!

    A great motivator...school reunion! Who cares how rich or important they are..for me it's all about how fat & old everyone looks :rotfl::rotfl:(esp being an all-girls school!) It's 33 years since we left......& I've got until October to shape up! Sounds ages but....
