Ooh I've never been in here before and I'm a bit scared tbh as I'm about to say

"that I'm a weekend alcoholic and I have to stop for the whole of next year."

Oh no what have I done.

I thought that if I give up the weekend litre of voddie and the cans or bottles of Pepsi Max I could save loads, probably about £800 or something.

OMG how am I going to survive. Oh well, As I plan to start from the 1st Jan there's still time to get used to the idea lol.

OK I'm going to sit back down now.

I shall be prepared, might pop into M&S for some indulgent food to help me through the evening

ETA: Right, I'm off to Argos

13 hours of the 8760 hour challenge completed  just 8747 hours to go :undecided :D

That's a lot of hours. I do 24 hrs at a time. That's enough for me
Me not drinking for one day is a realistic target. Me not drinking for a whole year is too long for me. That's why I use the phrase 'one day at a time'

While we all hope that you will accomplish your task, if you don't then try something different
Don't flog a dead horse - for many people will power is not enough.
    Good luck

    Let's try again.
I can only do 24 hrs at a time. That is managebale. One day at a time
More than a day is too long for me
    Good luck for a year
We wish you all the luck in the world, but please promise to try another method if you don't succeed
Alcoholism kills the individual and makes misery for those around them
I'd hate my kids to remember me as an occasional drunk.
