    BB, sorry to hear about your problems last night. I understand that it would have been better if you had discussed this all sober BUT I'm not sure you would have told DS if you had been. You love him to bits and would probably have kept things quiet and tried to protect him. My take is, he's an adult now and does he really understand the issues you are coping with with his dad? As others have said, you've apologised and now must move on and hopefully DS will be part of helping you help MrBB to move on.

    Sorry if I've said too much, too hard, but we care about you and don't want you beating yourself up when you're trying so hard to help everyone :A

    YM had another thought about Guam - will it be A Give Up Monday?? Personally I think it's best (that's what all smoking threads say) to choose a day and tell people but I'm not sure a couple of weeks before Christmas is a good day to choose. But if your drinking is depressing you, maybe you need to act now and never mind festive season?

    I'm up for 72hr challenge starting Monday.

  • Hi Everyone :hello::santa2:

    5 for me please Marru, ta.

    Met my old friends for lunch yesterday and just had mineral water - they were quite restrained too, this time, think I must be having an influence on them! Last time I met them, 6 months ago, I was the only one drinking apple juice and they were drinking lots of wine!

    BB: sorry to hear about your bad experience last night. But like everybody is saying to you, you are and have been under so much stress that it is not surprising that this has happened. Especially as you value every second of time you have with your DS - he probably doesn't realise just how much you look forward to seeing him. However,he is a very clever boy with a great job, and I think he will start to understand how difficult it really is for you at present, living with his depressed father. So things will get better again, I'm sure, and hopefully DS will give you some more support. Life is so hard, especially where our children are concerned!!!

    Must go, so busy as usual.

    Night night all xx
