  • Ok peoples....stopped sniffling now!

Have a question for you. OH bought me an ipod shuffle for my birthday. I'm in seventh heaven locating all my favourite tunes on itunes. But always think I'm missing some. Memory isn't what it used to be when you get to 36 you know!:rotfl:

So, all you 30 somethings....what tunes bring back memories for you?? Actualy, not just the 30 somethings! I have things by the boxtops, the sweet, Fragma, Erasure, Lonestar, etc!!!

P.s well, at least itunes is keeping me from going back to the wine bottle too often!

Lovely Budgie - I've missed you too!

As usual, your updates concern everyone else with no word of how you are. I hope you and your Hubby are well

    Miss P
    xx

:kisses3: Lovely Miss P and our adorable piglet, its so lovely to have you back. You both have really been missed you know ;) Btw on the tunes thingy .......................

I am from the Squeeze and Boomtown Rats era........ (Cue BHB here).

Special songs for me are: Madonna, Crazy For You. (playing when my Dh was decorating our Ds nursery)

99 Red Balloons, Nena (On the radio as I went to have my hair done on my wedding day)

Oh and I apologise for this but Dollar, hand held in black and white. (We were skint so used to sit on a pub car park, and listen to the radio)

Finally Dionne Warwick and heartbreaker, played at our wedding as our first dance. The Dj was related to my previous first boyfriend. (As I met Mr BB at aged 17 there was only one previous bf) :o

Does any of the above help

Big hugs and nice to see you back ;) (()) xxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi to Pricey and Pbt where are all the rest of ya?

    God bless

  • Oh Budgie that brought back a few!!!

Squeeze - hourglass and up the junction were fab (hourglass esp!!)

Dionne Warwick - that so makes me think of my Mum. She used to love Dionne Warwick.

You're on you're on your own with the Dollar thing though!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

You are doing really fab :T

It really is great to have you back you know ;)

I have missed your posts and re: the wine rack birthday pressie. My Dh went a few years ago to Index to buy me a little necklace from my Ds which says: I love you always.

He returned with quite a large box, well much larger than a necklace box

To cut a long story short it was a: spatula set  you know, potato masher etc

    Beat that ;)

I could not believe it ....................

It was years ago but I have never forgotten it ;)

    Big hugs and God Bless

  • Quite honestly, its great to be back.

Spatula set beats the wine rack I think!

(although....and keep this quiet....the first year we were together, Oh wrapped my birthday present..which was an engagement ring!...in lovely paper...and BROWN PACKING TAPE!!!) Beat that! :rotfl:

    Miss P

  • But hey it was what was in the package, aside of brown tape that was special.

    Just like you :A

I am off to bed now, where is everyone

    I guess 40sm is puppy training :rotfl::rotfl:

    Big hugs and take care
