Ah good, Lurky's in the crimbo spirit...just for you....2009's First Christmas JokeThree men died on Christmas Eve and were met by Saint Peter at the pearly gates.'In honor of this holy season' Saint Peter said, 'You must each possess something that symbolizes Christmas to get into heaven.'The first man fumbled through his pockets and pulled out a lighter. He flicked it on. 'It represents a candle', he said.'You may pass through the pearly gates' Saint Peter said. The second man reached into his pocket and pulled out a set of keys. He shook them and said, 'They're bells.'Saint Peter said 'You may pass through the pearly gates'.The third man started searching desperately through his pockets and finally pulled out a pair of women's panties.St. Peter looked at the man with a raised eyebrow and asked, 'And just what do those symbolize?'The man replied, 'These are Carols.'And So The Christmas SeasonBegins...... :snow_laugDFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0

I foray into other boards on here & sometimes I really really wonder why. There is so much help & support all round here then you get people who get so argumentative & finger-pointy (IYSWIM- can you be finger-pointy in a post?
) with each other. I'm not talking about trolls either, just ones who "in the spirit of trying to help" start tearing other people's posts to pieces just cos they don't agree with their point of view.
*sigh*
It may be a little naive in this day & age but I believe that being nice doing cost anything & kindness makes the world go round
And if that is naive then long may I remain so
bearhugs to all you lovely peeps
EDIT: i took a large drink of tea after posting all that & nearly choked to death!@ LBM = £15,872.65, now £10,819.82AF Jan = 7/? Feb = 5/14 Mar = 14/20 Apr = 6/14 May = 2/14 June 2/14 July 0/TF Aug 1/TFv Sept 6/TF Oct 4/7"NEVER DOUBT YOUR OWN QUALITY"0 -

Morning folks,
Well, we have our first jumpy today :T.
Maman - thanks for asking how I'm doing. Doing ok, have been AF for a few weeks now minus a mulligan 3 weeks ago which was beyond horrible. Drank a skinful and puked over the couch, the bathroom floor, myself etc. It was very reminiscent of a scene in The Witches of Eastwick - if you've seen the film, you'll know the one I mean.
So, that experience really put me off, but this past week I've been kind of fancying a glass of wine again and battling that a bit. Constant vigilence I suppose.
Hearing how bright and shiny Jo and MrsDee are is really helping me see the benefits of the AF choice and keeping me going. :T:T
Think we should organise a coach party to YM's for the switching on of the lights. I love all that stuff! :santa2:
