He's a very lucky man! What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
Morning all
Im feeling a bit carp this morning, but I suppose this is a reminder that even 2 glasses of wine are not good for my body
Busy day today, just trying to catch up with the ironing mountain before kids need to be suited and booted for rememberence parade!! Just hoping it doesn't rain.
Catch up properly later,
Have a lovely Sunday

Not easy at all, but I really, really hope it will get easier for me - I need to set a pattern, like I have done for the rest of the week. Drinking 1.5 bottles of wine on a Friday night used to be automatic until a couple of years ago, and I don't miss the Friday night drink at all now (apart from the occasional blip every 6 months or so:o).
I ignored the clanging bells which started at 5:30, made tea through them, drinking pineapple juice instead of gulping spritzers. Diet coke with tea instead of wine. Hot (sugar-free) ribena later, several mini crunchies and caramel bars (forgetting about calories and cholesterol) throughout the evening and hey presto, I made it! :T DD2 was babysitting for a friend for the first time, so I had to stay up to let her in, which I did at 12:20 SOBER!!!!! :j I can remember everything she told me :T:T I keep remembering 'baby steps' ...
I'm going to a spinning lesson again at the gym soon - without HUGE bags under my eyes :j(just the usual small ones )
Have a good day everybody

I went to Tesco and bought some almond magnums last night, the company that makes magnum will be getting an increase in profit this year
Since I've stopped drinking I have become addicted to cleaning, never ever thought I'd say that! I've been down the rubbish dump already this morning, know some of the blokes down there on first name terms now, man was I a hoarder......no more though
it's all going, if it doesn't move (cept for the telly obv) then it's going, I've warned OH to get up off the sofa occasionally otherwise he'll find himself down there too :rotfl:
Since the numerous trips to the dump with furniture that didn't serve it's purpose and clothes that haven't been worn for over a year and toys that the kids don't look at, I have so much space!!
Off now to do all the washing, mountains of it
then back down the tip
Hope you all have a super sober Sunday

Really must get off me'arris and do the washing, I'm making a nuisance of myself on here anyway posting random things in people's diaries that aren't the diaries I'm meant to be posting in and making no sense to people whatsoever  anyone'd think I'd been drinking
Right!!! I'm off!!!
Bye!!!

Good afternoon!
BF sadly had to go back home but he will be back on Wednesday. I have been visiting these lovely people and did some energy healing to them. Either they humoured me or I actually was able to make a difference. And the upside is that after doing that kind of work I feel great as well.
Shortly taking DD to soft play area with my friend and her little one and then looking forward evening watching XF results with oat cakes, houmous and ginger ale. Hope all is well with everyone. Catch up again later.
Jo: if you run out of stuff to clear/clean then please can you come here to give me some motivation and helping hand?
