WBF, if you join us in the Sunday challenge, then straight onto the 72 hour challenge tomorrow when you'll only need 2 more and have 3 days to do it in!

I hope everyone's not bored of the daily challenges? You don't have to do them, it's just to help the abstainers along. I can't remember who said about having a Mon - Wed 72 challenge every week in Nov, that's a good idea for the cutter downers. A good way to start the week on a positive footing, gearing up for the weekend and resting the liver before the next onslaught :rotfl:, money saving and healthy :D

Do the veg boxes work out expensive ??

They are expensive to me as I have no money :rotfl: used to be a regular customer when I was earning 'proper' money but only did it this time because it worked out that I'd spend £67.76 over 4 weeks then get the £50.00 credit. I used all the fruit and veggies I had delivered, everything was delicious. Had to meal plan around what was in the box, but you could see up to a week in a advance what was going to be delivered except for when you say you don't want something in the box and they replace it with something else but you don't know what it is till it arrives. They say that the large box, £23.50 is enough for 4 people, which it isn't really. Then I got the medium one for £15.95 and used ALL the veggies in my beef bourginon week before last and only had the fruit left. The quality of the products are amazing though, gave my mum a banana, apple and orange to try last week and she kept going on about how amazing they were  the kids love the oranges, the grapefruits are AMAZING. I also ordered some sausages the other week, 81% meat content, they were lovely. If you are not in they are delivered in a polyestyrene box with ice packs surrounding the meat and the veg is in a big cardboard box. Anyway, enough about veg boxes, I'm off to mummies for lunch :)

    Hi all :j

I've just had a lovely wark in a very Autumnal park, with leaves blowing around, & it was beautiful

However, I have also spent lots of money on a new dress & random shopping in Ikea... :o

  • Hi everybody :hello:

As usual, certainly wasn't AF last night. I've just realised I can't have any more wine until November if I want to hit my target of 25 AF days, so here goes ..... I've got a couple of days holiday on Thurs and Fri, but I do want to achieve the target, so I will do my very best! I'm looking forward to spending some half term time with my DDs, and I do need a rest.

Hope all are well. It was lovely to hear from Sea, who is doing absolutely brilliantly.

    Have a good week everybody

    xx

Right, I'm on for today and will then come along for the 72 hour challenge. Feeling tired and a bit listless today. There is so much I'm behind on and I just want to curl up on the sofa and watch tv. Still, not hungover today so that's good.

4/10 so far. Halfway if I keep going today.

I have to do a 96 hour stint Mon - Thurs to hit my target as next weekend will definitely involve alcohol :o

Shall we hold hands to help each other through it? :D
