Just reading about Morrissey, Caz so sorry your night was ruined
The Telegraph report is a bit odd though:
"He was "suffering from respiratory problems" and was said to be unconscious, according to a spokesman for the Great Western Ambulance Service. He added: “We sent a paramedic in a doubled-crewed ambulance. When they arrived they found a conscious patient who was not feeling well at all."
I'm a little concerned about the training these paramedics have received :rotfl: :rotfl:DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
Well I am reporting 3 glasses of white wine last night and a cracking headache this morning.
Trying to work it off and have a massive pot of onion soup on the go for lunches.
Maybe a serene sober sunday for me - will have a think about it and get back to you!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Sorry about Morrissey Caz, it's difficult when you've been looking forward to something for ages and ages and then it doesn't hit the dizzying heights of fun you expect.
I had a very intense dream last night and woke up in tears. Very odd as the things in the dream weren't that big a deal.
Still, feel better for an AFD yesterday and looking forward to another one sunday here today. So what's the Sunday acronym? Starry Alcohol free Sunday - some one beat the SAS. I'm too sleepy.

WBF, if you join us in the Sunday challenge, then straight onto the 72 hour challenge tomorrow when you'll only need 2 more and have 3 days to do it in!
I hope everyone's not bored of the daily challenges? You don't have to do them, it's just to help the abstainers along. I can't remember who said about having a Mon - Wed 72 challenge every week in Nov, that's a good idea for the cutter downers. A good way to start the week on a positive footing, gearing up for the weekend and resting the liver before the next onslaught :rotfl:, money saving and healthyDFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -

hey all
How are you are doing? I've not been around at al really over the last few months.
I've not drunk now for nearly 5 months - been going to AA meetings regularly and have now started working the 12 step programme. I know it's not for everyone to give up completely, but that was the only way for me.
My life is still pretty unmanageable though - things really hard at the mo. Work has improved beyond belief and in that respect the not drinking has helped beyond measure. I am struggling being a single parent though so am off to the family board to get some inspiration and that.
Much love for you all in cutting down. I know how hard it is!!!!
Sea xxxxxxxxx
Sea! Good to hear from you. I was just thinking of you yesterday and was wondering how you were doing so I am really pleased to hear you are still AF. Is it really 5 months ? God time flies ..
Sorry to hear that you are struggling at the moment . I struggle and I am married so I can only imagine how hard it must be being a single parent. You are doing really well . Well done:T
Keep in touch and remember we are all here if you need us.

Errmm, not sure yet, have nothing in and need to go out and buy it but have virtually no money. Will have a look on the reduced bit, hoping for a pork belly joint  I know I've got loads of veg in the freezer and think I probably have enough tatties.
Ordered my crimbo meat this morning  took advantage of an Abel & Cole offer last month and had a fruit and veg box delivered 4 weeks in a row and they've credited my account with £50.00  so ordered my meat this morning to be delivered on 24th Dec. How exciting!!! (sorry Lurks :undecided)DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -

Well done . You are organised . Do the veg boxes work out expensive ??
I have been considering trying one as it is now getting into " soup" weather. I think I would also like the element of surprise;)
