Morning everyone! What lovely heartwarming and supportive messages those were yesterday. Seems like most people are in a positive and hopeful frame of mind just now. I hope so anyway. It really does buoy one up to read how caring and giving everyone is to eachother on this thread. Lovely - well done you!
Fay, that's 19 AFD for me now please - didnt quite get round to painting toenails last night but definitely up for some pampering this evening. Thanks for the Dermalogica tip from earlier (sorry cannot recall now who that was from). As I spend quite a bit of time outdoors gardening, running etc that's a good tip to help stave off the weatherbeaten look during the winter! And I can afford to indulge a bit in lovely skin care things now, what with all the money I have not spent on alcohol!! Hurrah!!

    Good morning all.

Everyone seems very positive on here at the moment...You are all doing really well.

Good luck for today BHB....Hope this is the time the tide now turns for you.:kisses3:

DH has done two days now:T..but is thinking of only cutting down and just having a couple of beers on weekend nights(instead of lots of whisky). This would be ideal but I do wonder if this is possible for him to do.I don't think it is but we will see.
Have left Allen Carr book 'lying around' on the coffee table and have 2 more days to try and convince him to stop completely....but this must be his decision so trying not to nag.....just be supportive (he is so tired....no sleep again last night..poor thing:rolleyes:)

Well done FAY...hope you are feeling happier today...one day closer to babies coming home.Good luck on the work front.....hope it gets easier for you.

Must dash......got to get back to Jo's loft:D

    See you later

For those struggling with life's problems....
A quote from Allen Carr (my hero:))

'Alcohol doesn't make a difficult world bearable, it turns an intensely beautiful world into a living hell.'

    Take care of you

So glad that parents evening went well 40SM, I told you nothing to worry about. You make sure you tell your boys how proud you are of them and how very pleased their teachers were with them. And well done for not celebrating in traditional style when you got home.

I'm going to have a quick look around then off to bed too. 'night all - only 25 hours and 6 minutes to go
