I would like everyone to be upstanding please and raise your glasses (of hot choklit) to our dear Fay.

Wish I could do smileys on the phone!

She averted me from danger twice, yes, twice, tonight. First, I was driving to the offy with every intention of saying eff it, told her where I was was so she text me a photo of a homemade choklit cheesecake that was all for me (shame im too far away to try it). Then second time I had to drop DD at station unexpectedly and found myself sat back outside the offy in the car when she text me a silly pic of herself with ice cream and wearing funky wellies.

Couldnt let the girl down after receiving around a dozen texts in a 20 minute period to stop me buying beer.

Thank you my dear friend xx

Talking of dear friends, budgie, where are you?

Thought, as I'm a Strictly fan, I'd check out the thread in the Arms board -

They're not as nice on there as we are all are!

    And that's me being diplomatic!

Well it did the trick glad you're are OK :)

Thanks dude - Now what you're not saying is that you are an angel you know :A - kept my mind ticking over by telling you not to go and get any I know you'd do the same for me - and the cheesecake was made by DD a while back so you'd only ever have got a slice of the virtual one ;)

Kept thinking about Honeybears lillies as well :)

Had a curry (water to drink not keen on drinking and eating - I prefer water with my food :)) and am now utterly stuffed :) Talking to OH about quitting forever and how he would feel about it - he's a bit like me does everything to excess - but he just gives things up immediately. We're different on that front.

Loads of walks on beaches today thinking about life and how lucky I am to live here and have the kids with me (normally!). Collected 15 tiny little 'groatie buckie' shells today which are gorgeous and only are on a few beaches here the size of a small pinky nail

I love them and have a peedie dish of them in the bathroom 'just for me'.

Night all - and thanks for being so lovely its a great thread.

PS my living sober book came - about to unwrap it!

Well done all those AF :T and everyone who's not enjoy your evening :D

Have to confess that my toenails never did get painted :o

However toenails & fingernails were filed, buffed & had cuticle oil rubbed in so am glam in a natural kind of way HSnails.gif

Love the groatie buckie shells, tho they did make me think of pasta shells...maybe that's just me? :D

Generally I'm feeling lots better than I did this morning & it has helped me to have you guys & this thread for just helping deal with stuff so thanks :)

Off to bed/read for a bit now

    Sweet dreams all

    xx

    Morning,

Work again today - pah! Non AFD for me yesterday as ended up going out last night. 7 units - taking my total for the week to 14. Definitely not going out anymore for quite a few nights, so I will be good for a good few days:A otherwise my diet will be blown to bits and my unit count will become truly unhealthy.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
