Wont do the bottle tonight tho....put some in the food and will do my best to leave some in the fridge. Doh!! Wish I hadnt said earlier that i would be AF tho........shows the weak side!! Or the strong side of alcohol........I suppose...

  • Evening all. Having an early night tonight as still not sleeping well (twitchy legs!) so thought I'd pop in and see how you're doing before I hit the sack. I must get myself some of this choccie stuff, it sounds luverly. Another AF for me please Fay!

    Evening all :D
Once again, thx for all the welcomes last night, I'm sure that soon I will become a regular here, and get to know you all, but I am a bit shy :o
Well, this is the second evening of being alcohol free and so far I have coped. :j
Spent the evening getting to grips with dooyoo, keeping my mind off of the dreaded Wine. It's now way past shop closing time, so no risk of that now. :D
Not looking forward to tomorrow though, as tommorrow is the day I tell my mum the horrifying truth of my finances. I'm sure she has suspicions anyway because she keeps phoning to check "i'm ok" because a dodgy letter has arrived (they are chasing me at her address as some debts were taken out when lived there, although they all have new address anyway). Grrrr. But she will prob try to get me to have a glass of wine, but if I do, I know I will buy more when I get home. So must be strong. lol. xx

    Evening everyone.
Not AF today I'm afraid as there was a leaving drink after work and I had two glasses of wine. However, whereas before I would have continued drinking as soon as I got home, this evening I didn't I had raspberry cordial in sparkling water with my dinner. I think that's real progress. Now I am going to put my jammies on and have a mug of hot chocolate. Not this lovely sounding chunk stuff that people are talking about unfortunately:sad: Mine's low cal and called Skinny Cow but it does actually taste quite good.

I may try for an AF Wednesday but I'll see how I feel tomorrow. I'm going to a pub quiz tomorrow evening and I'm not sure whether I can lead my team on Diet Coke!
    Good night all, sleep well.

  • Hey scbye, good luck with telling your mum. I hope she has the reaction you want, it'll make your life so much easier having some support. It's a pretty big thing telling her so if you cave in and have a glass then don't beat yourself up, you've had 2 night AF! But well done to you if you don't, if you can do that then you can do it any night of the week. :)

Don't forget that this forum is for suppose too though. :)

Thank you fakeplasticwee :) sorry, but I couldn't resist a smile reading that username. ;)
I know it needs to be done, as we are close, and I don't like keeping things from her.
Good luck with your missions aswell. :)
Off too bed now to try and sleep, so have fun all, and see you soon. :)
