We are in the tropics now - either that or the contents of the greenhouse are splattered all over my bedroom window.........oh dear

Am OK we have friends who should have arrived on the boat this evening (5huors from aberdeen) BUT they've been waiting in the harbour since 4pm and only set off at midnight when it was deemed safe to travel

Wouldn't want to be on that boat...........(insert seasick smiley)

Night night YM movies were random choice from kids and me and love film......:rolleyes:

I had a lovely day thank you very much. My mum and I went shopping and out for lunch and it was lovely to spend some time together.

Now I have a hangover as I polished off a bottle of prosecco last night - not even that nice but I persevered nonetheless knowing how I would feel this morning. Better carry on with the rehydration of orange juice/tea/squash and a couple of croissants and the dull headache may go.

No sympathy please as I knew this would happen. I can't drink a bottle of wine on my own without feeling like this the next day. It'll sink in someday!

Anyway better get off now and thanks for all the good wishes yesterday!

Just back from the ferry (well was back at about 7am, picked up my brohters chums who have been stuck on a ferry since 4pm yesterday as the boat was stuck due to bad weather - poor chaps - least they are here now

Having thought we blew away yesterday we still seem to be in the chilly north - there will soon be NO garden left:rotfl::(

4th day AF for me today.

I wonder how many days I could manage to be AF this month. I'm thinking about what I could spend the "extra money" on. I have a few ideas about lovely stuff that my DH said that we cannot afford to buy.:D;)

I'm feeling a bit groggy today because we switched on our central heating last night and it always makes me feel all dizzy at first.

It's nice to not be hangovered though!:T

I hope everyone is having a good Sunday. I think I might get some brekkie in the garden and hope it's not too cold out there.
