Are you using an old SKY card that you used to ahve when you subscribed, or is it a skyfreeview card? Sky do effectively "cut off" old card limiting the channels you can get, and the way around is to spend £20 on a skyfreesta card.

The Sky freesat card only gives you Sky3, FIVER and FIVEUS, but does give you your BBC and ITV regions.

The issue with adding FIVE manually is that there's no EPG for it.

Sorry, It's FTA... it's been a while since I spent my time twiddling on DS...! Like you say you need to add Five manually...

Yes, we have an old sky card which we had when we subscibed, its blue on the front with a yellow house being about 4 years old..

Channels we can watch using our skybox.
bbc1 -
itv1,2,3 and 4.

bbc2, channel 4, 5, cbeebies,etc, the message of "there is atech fault with this channel, please try later"

Looks like my card needs renewing...

Where can i purchase a new free viewing card to use with our panasonic sky box?

You should get BBC2, Ch4 CBeebies without a card. Getting a new card won't make a difference to these channels.

Can you borrow a digibox from a friend to rule out the box?

We are now getting our free channels again :j

All i did was remove cable from dish and re-inserted and bingo..

From what you have described you have a fault which is unique to Panasonic receivers, where some, but not all, Astra 2D channels cannot be received. Satcure sell a 'panafix 2D filter', which costs £10.95, but to be honest unplugging and replugging the satellite cable, as you have done, should cure the problem...until it happens again. However, this could be months away.
