Orange changed my PAYG tariff, not requested
Hi
I've been on an older Orange PAYG tariff, think it was Free Text Trigger Speakeasy (£10 top up gives 300 free texts, 15p/min all networks).
I got a text earlier today saying they were going to move me to Dolphin, (which gives same free text with top up, free FB/myspace/bebo but is 20p/min).
About an our ago, I got another text to say I had been transferred over.
Whilst for texts it will make no difference, I do make a few voice calls - yes I have been face-booking on the phone a bit the last week or two, but this isn't a regular occurrence so is of no benefit to get free internet to sites I don't usually use.
Has this happened to anybody else, are they simply getting rid of old tariffs. I was checking the website and I can't find anything that says this, just that if you're on an old tariff and come off it, you can't go back.
But I didn't want to come off it!!

My mum got moved to Canary about 2 weeks ago. She was on an older PAYG tariff to. Made no difference to her prices thou due to her usage.
I was sort of surprised they did it as we have had phones on ancient PAYG tariff on orange for a while and they didn't do it automatically we had to request it. The newer tariffs were cheaper.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
It happened to me last week. A text one day saying they were moving me to Dolphin from the Text Trigger, and then another the next day saying it had been done.0
