Hi All,
Heres the problem.
I've an elderly Aunt (84) who has a panasonic tv vcr combined about 3 yrs old.
I need to buy her something to replace what she has that is simple to use and that she can record the odd programme on.
I lent her a freeveiw box to see if she could use it ok but she was a bit phased by it and the main problem seemed to be that as she only watches a few hours a week she would spend ages trying to remember what to do.
I've decided to scrap the lot and replace it with some new kit ie new TV and Freeveiw box/recorder.
The problem is what is out there that is simple to operate for someone like her ?????
Sky is not realy an option because of the flat she lives in.
Money isn't realy a problem and would sooner pay for something thats decent as I don't want to be going round every five minutes solving freezing problems or pressing wrong buttons etc etc
Simplicity and ease of use is more important.
Any ideas anyone ??????

Thanks for that do you know if I got a new TV to go with it could I just have the one remote to operate both the TV and the PVR ?
If so would you think it's idiot proof ???
I'm trying to get something so that she can use one basic remote if you know what I meanIt's not just about the money0 -
Generally I only need to use the remote for the Humax and only use the TV remote for the sound and to put the tv off/on. The quick set up guide for the Humax tells you most of the basic things you need to use it although it took me a while to realise that there was a whole load of buttons hidden by a slide opening on the Humax remote0
