Now the problem is i tried download this KASPERSKY about a year ago but installation was incomplete and has caused me problems ever since on my laptop everytime i right click with the mouse it brings up windows installer and tries to run KASPERSKY how can i get rid of this from my laptop as its not in my add and remove programs also when i do a search no files containing KASPERSKY show up?

other option is to try reinstalling Kap Av and then if the install goes OK then unistall it in the normal way

personally I would try downloading the the reg cleaner and run it
reboot then try installing the new AV software chances are it'll do the job

Be carefull in the registry !!
Trouble with manually deleteing from the registry is there will be lots of other files linked to KASPERSKY AV which may not be listed under Kaspersky

you are normally better off using the companys reg cleaners

Also before you do anything create a restore point >>

Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System restore
    then create restore point
