Help needed choosing best contract

Hi all,
I'm coming to the end of my T-Mobile Flext 35 contract (it actually ends in November) This gives me upto £180 of cross network calls/texts to use each month.
The cost of my calls is worked out as: calls - 20p/min; sms 10p; picture msgs 20p; voicemail 10p/min
It doesn't give me any internet access for free and I have to pay for calls to 0870/0800/0845 numbers and for video calling.
I currently pay £13.83 + vat (£15.90) per month.
I never actually use all of my £180 allowance. On average I spend £80 on calls, £20 on texts, and £5 on voicemail.
I am currently using a Sony Ericsson W800i which could do with replacing. I'd like a phone with a decent camera/video, good battery life and decent, expandable memory. If it works out cheaper I am more than happy to buy the 'phone separately.
Tmobile rang me today and offered me a Samsung Pixon or a Nokia 6700 but that would loose me one of my discounts and I would pay £22.34+ Vat per month on an 18 month contract starting from today.
OR If I don't take a new phone then they offered to let me stay on my current £13.83+ Vat deal.
I want to know - is this the best deal that I can get? If so, what else should I try to get out of them? At the moment they're offering me Web+Walk at £1 per month but I've never taken them up on it. Am I likely to get this for free? Etc.
All help very gratefully received.
Oh, and I don't like Hutchison 3G or manual cashback deals.
Thanks

Since your contract end is over 30 days away the odds are the offers will only get better. If you request a PAC code in the last 30 or so days you will usually get calls from retentions department who can offer even better deals if you choose to stay with them.
I was tempted by t-mobile but found i got better value on a contract with defined limits on text/mins rather than t-mobile flex plans.
As a phone the 5800 has been popular and has lots of features and i really like it over my N95 8GB. But some people don't like touch screens so it might not be your preferred choice of phone.
Can you say roughly how many minutes/texts you use instead of the price of those calls.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
Working it out on the average I'd guess that I spend roughly 400 cross network minutes in telephone calls, 50 minutes to voicemail and send about 200 sms texts.
Again all help much appreciated.0 -
Any help on this please? Even if it's only to direct me to a similar thread, that'd be useful.
Thanks0 -
I think you can get better deals with them if you stick to your ground. When there are 30 days left, just ask for you PAC and you will be transferred to retentions team who always offer better deals. So youcan negotiate with them but you will have to decide yourself weather you need a new phone or are happy to stay with the same phone.
As far Nokia 5800, it is a brilliant phone and I love mine but the problem with these smart phones is their battery life. So Samsung Pixon will have a short battery life as well but has a good camera at least on paper.I wanted to thankyou a million times but its a shame that I can press the button just once :T0
