Make a formal written request to the Council if they are responsible for enforcement. Demand attendance to enforce and if they refuse or fail then make a formal complaint and/or write to the press.

Just wondering what would happen if you took a photo of the offending car, with the mug shots clearly in view and report them. I bet in this sickening society run by do-gooders if the person taking the photo would be done.0

Actually, afterwards, I was kicking myself that I hadn't taken a photo! I was too cross to think properly at the time. I'll do so if I see this particular woman do it again - and she'll probably attack me! :rolleyes:0 -
As Neil B says - get onto the council (if it is their responsibility)0

I live opposite a school and every september is the same - parents parking over my drive blocking me in so that I cant get to work - one parent even had the cheek the other week to ask me what my problem was when I asked them calmly to move their car as I needed to get out. Their reply was "cant you wait I will only be about 10 minutes!"
So every year is the same, they soon get the message though when I see them getting out of their car and I reverse right up to their car and put my hand on the horn. It certainly works no one parks over my drive now well not until the new term next september :rotfl:0 -

No one would be 'done' for taking a photo ---- but it would be pointless. Not usable for enforcement purposes.0 -

Which, incidentally, they are allowed to do!

It's got so bad round our way now, that the police come past and do drivebys in the morning and going home time!
I'm not a driver by choice but if I was I'd never get a space as all the spaces outside my house fill up at 8.30 and 3.15. Most of the parents live within a 15 minute walk as well! Lazy gits!Noli nothis permittere te terere

Every school newsletter asks parent to park considerately, there is an 'unofficial' one way system which some parents ignore, they block drives, try to drive three abreast when other cars are parked up, park on the zigzags etc. It is gridlock most days with other non-school traffic involved as well.
The police were called recently as a father kicked another car that virtually knocked him over as it drove on the pavement!!!
Most of the little darlings live within easy walking distance of the School.
I have never spoken to any of the offending drivers, I just give them evils!!
our school has written an unofficial one way system too - and most of the mums ignore it. someone almost ran my DD over once by driving on to the pavement! I did not shout at her, knew her from years back, shes from a big horrible drug dealing/nasty family and didn't fancy getting a kicking off one of her brothers for daring to get her to listen to reason.Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

I'm sorry if someone parked on my drive i would ram the car, it's on private land, or better still put a clamp on it, with a very tiny hard to see sign saying clamping in operation, £100 cash for release. you'll either get rich or you'll have an empty driveLife is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?0
