This is what I'm hoping for but I fear all the blame will be shifted on to me and I will get shafted!
I will be writing out my letter to the CE of the Correspondence Department very soon.
Does anyone know what the department actually do and control? Also can anyone think of any questions I can ask of them?0 -
I'd still go with the exec office. They are feared by other depts ! And will get things done if they see you're in the right. Address and email below.

Hi Joe,
Just stick to the facts you don't need to ask them any questions. You terminated it with the phone call from the Airport and you accepted that it would take approx 24 hours to complete and that was it end of story!
You can offer to pay any charges for that 24 hour period but after that it became their problem.
Think of it like cancelling your milk or papers etc. If the paperboy carried on delivering papers do you think you should pay for them it's the same principle. It's not just about the money0 -
DO you know the difference between the two departments?0

The Correspondence dept deals with everything from 'how much is this plan?' to questions like yours.
The Exec office is based at the head office and is there to get problems sorted out. They only talk to call TL, call centre managers and offline teams and the like. Trust me, they will sort it for you.0 -
Super job, thanks for the help guys.
Any more thoughts and idea's are still much apreciated!
