Thanks for the info, I'm 6 8, so should squeeze in! I have real trouble with clothes and usually import the tall sizes from america, cos I don't have the width to go with it. I'm the lanky type, which usually doesnt work with UK sizes like XXXL, but it may be worth a go for this price!0 -
My fella has just tried to buy one of these shirts from the Newbury store ... they have it priced at £18 not £12 and the manager refused to budge saying he could not access the website to check and could only sell the shirt at the price on the label.
Has anyone else had this problem?0 -
Just search on the internet for littlewoods discount codes - or have a look at http://www.hotukdeals.com or http://www.rpoints.com/home/.ejwfun wrote:What vouchers are you referring to? Cheers ejwfun
The youth's shirt is £20 now at littlewoods. Also, you can get the full red away or white home kit in infants size for £28 before discount voucher, but it goes up to age 6/7 whereas the youth size starts at 6/7 but the top on it's own is £30 so if you have a 6 to 7 year old don't buy a youth's size shirt!0 -
I was in the shop yesterday and never noticed them at that price. I have just tried to order them online and the postage is £5.95 rather than £3.95 as it says the original message.
(Quick moan - shop is so hard to get around with a wheelchair!)

I want to buy my husband and son 1 of these each as a surprise. Should I buy the white or red tops? Will the England team wear the white tops at all whilst they are at the world cup or will they only where the red ones? Any help from one who knows - gratefully received...0

many thanks have ordered two for the kid's i couldnt have got them at the normal stupid price!!normal wrote:Official Insert
To get these shirts they're available either in store or online and are available across the UK. Of course the obvious question is 'why they so cheap', and Sportsworld's answer is that it’s a loss leader aimed at bringing more people into their stores - which it probably will!
Sports World England shirt prices are as follows:
Home (White) Shirts:
Senior Short Sleeved £11.99
Junior Short Sleeved £8.99
Away (Red) Shirts:
Senior Short Sleeved £22.49
Junior Short Sleeved £17.49
Senior Long Sleeved £24.99
Junior Long Sleeved £19.99
These prices are also available online, but add £3.95 for postage.
Check whether there's a store near you here. Reply below if you can find them cheaper.
Original post below.
The short sleeve shirts are £11.99 and the full sleeve £19.99. They're official merchandise and actually very good quality for the price. I wouldn't buy one at the official price of £40 as that's a rip off but twelve quid for this is excellent! Now if only the team can produce the same quality on the pitch.....
Come on England!

The England Team will wear both shirts at the World Cup. Which ones they wear at each match will depend on:
- whether they are drawn 'home' (i.e. first) or 'away' (i.e. second) in any given match, and
- whether the colours of the 'home' team clash with white shirts/blue shorts.
The red shirts are popular at the moment because they are a new design, and because of the '66 final, which was played in red - although it looked like grey at the time ;o)
Hope that helps - Come on England, and Come on you Irons!0 -
Keep hold of your receipt if you buy them from Sport Soccer and if England win the World Cup - you get your money back!!! (and Sport Soccer go bankrupt!)
I bought 2 - 1 for each daughter - one in red and one in white. They're chuffed to bits!0 -
If you can't access the website using Internet explorer try Mozilla Firefox, it works fine.

PS the postage was coming up as £4.95 & the items were anticipated despatch from 29/05/2006 as they are not in stock.0 -
I've just bought one from sport-e.com, which seem to be a part of Lxdirect.
For the adult men's shirt they were £25 plus postage and then less one of the readily available 10% discount codes meant I paid £26.45 which is next day delivery incl if you want it.
I'm happy with that....Come on England :T0
