DS had a pencil broken in his arm yesterday.

Just rang claims about JSA - after listening to the Arrival of the Queen of Sheba for 10 mins I was told that I am a relatively new claim (2/8)
Been passed to decision makers and someone will ring me tomorrow. Yeah, yeah.
Bank still not phoned.

The reason I keep coming back to DFW even when I've been away, and not currently debt busting, and living a fairly uninteresting (money wise) life and I don't have much to talk about... is the knowledge that even if all I say is "I managed to get out of bed today", is that there is always bunch of people on here who remind me why even that is an achievement in itself.
This board helps us remember why we are where we are, and that if we need support, it's there, with our wonderful DFW friends.

but i did have one shoved through the side of my ear when i was at school and i still have a small grey mark where it went straight through to the side of my head:rotfl:0 -
2/8???? a new claim??? What a pile of !!!!!!!!. Trouble is they're completely swamped at the minute and possibly dealing with a huge backlog. Typically the jobcentre should have taken in, processed and started paying within 3-4 weeks. Your's is coming on for nearly 7 weeks. I'd give it a week or so to allow for any 'backlog' before I'd be looking at seriously complaining. Edit: CAB are actually doing a social policy on the jobcentreplus at the moment. (ie we are looking at the types of problems involving them and will be either producing a press release about it or looking to work with the JCP to rectify the errors so they don't happen again). If it carries on much longer go to your local CAB who will be able to give them a kick up the proverbial as well as logging your problem to go towards CAB social policy work.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
