Options

I am also awaiting BT to reconnect a line in my house then, take on the package but i will wait few days before purchasing the package, so far seems O2 is standing out for good deals and the cashback offer. will let you know how i get when i have got my broadband sorted.

100.00 via TCB is the best Cashback offer atm.
  • Hi,

Does anyone know if you get the cashback if you buy the "Takeaway" box in store and then register it online through Quidco/TCB?

I'm guessing you might as you are still signign up through the website, and it would make getting broadband much quicker for me....

I've signed up, through TCB and all online. How do I get the £75 back? My friend tells me that I will not get the £75 because there are conditions which I will not meet; they are there specifically designed to ensure that I don't meet them and so they don't have to pay me. What are those conditions, what mustdo/not do?
  • Have had 02 broadband package for over a year now would never go back to BT have been extremely pleased. Customer Service is second to none (and they're in this country!)

NOPE you won't get ANY cashback as you can't register it through those sites, you do it in a special section of the o2 website that isn't going to lead to them paying out £50-£100 to an Internet referral site who hasn't been involved in your shopping at the shop.

The ONLY reason to buy in a shop is IF you are never going to be at home to receive the o2 box via courier - and you'd STILL lose the cashback.

o2 won't let you place an order until you DO have a BT line to place the order on.

Quidco have said the current cashback offer of 50/75/100 ends at close Monday 21st. TCB site doesn't mention a deadline (yet).

o2 are currently offering 3m free - that runs to 31Oct AND even if you weren't able to sign up then you can register your interest so you would get it if/when you did get around to signing up.

So I think the moral is as soon as you HAVE a BT line, I would get those cookies cleared and get signed up ASAP as the cashbacks have NEVER been better.

  • i did this a few moths ago and you need to have your phone line connected as they ask for your number before you sign up. my cashback is tracked at £50 and have had no problems with the service so far. you do need to do it all online as others have said to get the cashback though - i think its worth maybe 2 weeks wait. the box was delivered early the wait was for them to prepare the line so getting the box erly wouldnt have been to any advantage
