  • Why no fish flavours?

    maybe they don't like it!

Don't you have anything else to do apart from comment on everyones posts on this thread? For someone who doesn't see the point of the thread you have an awful lot to say!

    Thanks for posting weblink.
Cat/dog food used for hedgehogs, badgers, foxes, corvids (crow family), gulls.
Fish is not part of hedgehog diet and upsets them. Easy to pick up wrong tin so we avoid fish (gulls get actual fish!).

  • We are a small Devon based charity who rescue, care for and rehome cats and kittens, both domestic and feral. We also work across the UK to secure places for 'at risk' animals.

couple of large dog crates - for keeping small kittens in, especially ferals, whilst we socialise them.

You should be aware of this earlier post:
While its a nice idea, all posts on this board must follow the rules of the board which means giving the Charity website and registered number.

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=180867

This means anyone donating either money or gifts know that it is going to a genuine charity.
When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.

My theatre group has been informed several times by both the charities commission and local advice places for non-profits that with 20 people (counting regulars and those who drop in and out) and an income of about £1500 at most, per year we are far too small to get a registered charity number. Considering we are trying to expand, we have a long history of supportting other community groups, offering employability placements for young/ unemployed people, and have absolutly no paid staff, etc, we really do do a lot with next to nothing.

We have an urgent second-hand-things wants list however, NOT for money though we wont refuse if you want to give some *lol*, just second hand bits and pieces - mainly specific old clothes and fabrics that we can re-make into costumes and set backdrops. You can check out all across the internet that we exist (we have a pretty good web presence), just pop our name into Google. The South Devon Players, from Brixham in Devon. We have a wishlist posted on our main website, which is southdevonplayers [dot] weebly [dot] com (click on the wishlist tab in the middle row at the top of the page for all further details and to make contact with the group).

I hope this is allowed, simply apologise that we are too small and frankly skint to even be allowed to be a registered charity!!!!! I can always supply press clippings, committee letters and proceedings, etc etc (I am secratry) to site admins to prove we exist properly.

Disclaimer - some forum posts are about things for me, but some are on behalf of the theatre group - The South Devon Players - for which I am secretary. For further info, please refer to the post in question.

A New Charity based in Goa has a wish list (Needslist) on their website, they aren't asking for money yet, just asking for simple health items (toothpaste, brushes, soap etc) which they give out to slum and street children in Goa.

Just search for "Street Children Charity India - Helping Slum & Street kids in Goa" in Google

Have a look, all the stuff is pretty simple and basic.

    Thanks
