I suggest a letter to Mr Mark Bolland Chief Exec of Morrisons, Gain Lane, Bradford. Advise him his company could be seen to gaining money by deception, that may wake him up.

    Not worth a stamp.

And to be honest I would have thought that Morrisons like so many others have contracted out their car parking "management" to another company so all he would say is "nowt to do with us guv"

I (unfairly) got a PCN at Morrison's in Barrow. I wrote a stinking letter to their head office explaining how the parking company was damaging their brand, and that I would be shopping at Asda thenceforth.

They wrote back explaining that they'd cancelled the ticket, and that's the last I heard.

There's also an article in our local paper about Creative Parking, who now run the car park next to Pizza Hut in Lancaster, using cameras to clock you entering and leaving the car park. If you overstay the two hour limit, you get a PCN for £150, rising to £300 if not paid within 10 days.

Unsurprisingly, there have been loads of complaints, as 2 hours often isn't enough parking time for a visit to Pizza Hut, especially as they're running a promotion to get people to buy three courses at the moment.

Apparently Pizza Hut have had Creative Parking cancel over 50 tickets since the summer. I just feel sorry for the poor sods who were intimidated into paying.

Exactly, its disgusting, its got nothing to do with making sure people dont over stay in a car park, its pure money making, how can a £300 invoice for parking whilst shopping be justified!!!
