Thank you rm84....great point....the order for which I used that code never showed up and I was about to report it to ASOS...I never even thought that it might have been cancelled...I haven't received an email but I'll check my order page. Thanks for the heads-up!0

Don't know if it's just me having this problem, but just tried to order using the NEWYEAR code (which I haven't used already) and it's saying "the discount code "NEWYEAR" has already been used and is no longer valid"
So I made up a new account with a different email address abd it was also saying the same thing :rolleyes:
Anyone else had this problem? Surely it can't have expired already! It was only released today, and it meant to be valid until the 3rd Feb!0 -
I think that ASOS gives a code to one of their customers and it's only for that person. So when someone else goes to use it the code is no longer valid???? Give ASOS some credit, the amount of money they must be making I don't think they are really gonna care about a measly 10% discount!0

I've been a customer of ASOS for around 6 years now, I started using them when they were a small company and not many people knew about them. They always used to reward loyalty with 15/20% codes which had long expiries on them. Since they have become a big company with thousands upon thousand of customers, they have become very tight with their codes, and it just doesnt seem fair.
Also, the fact that they release a code on one day and then withdraw it on the same day seems like a bit of a tease to customers. With ASOS, you have to add all your items to basket and then put your card details in before you can see if a code works, bit of a waste of time if it doesn't! Fair enough if they don't want to supply codes, but they should make their minds up... either not have ANY at all, or supply them with a fair expiry date on, don't mess us around.
P.S, Just tried and CELEBRATE does not work on sale items

Well, they obviously do because they've become very tight all of a sudden with these codes, eventhough they are only 10% ones! As a rule, I tend not to order from them anymore (since their prices have inflated over the last year or two) and will only put an order through if there's a code around... so I guess they'll just have to make do without my money
I emailed them about it last night, but have had no reply as of yet. I'll let you know if I do.0 -

As I've already said, this code did not work for me. Not sure about other members, but it seems that ASOS have started linking codes to customer accounts, which exclude the majority of customers. Taken from their reply.
"Thank you for your email regarding a discount code.
I have investigated this with our Marketing Department and I can confirm that the ASOSSKY22 discount was cancelled due to gross misuse, so I am unable to assist you with this particular code on this occasion"
"Customers will occasionally post their discount codes on certain websites that are not affiliated with ASOS.com and we ask customers to be wary of these. This is because we often set up discounts that will only work on the account of those who receive the discount code directly from us and not for other customers."
