I also agree the random codes are ridiculous ie valid for one lunchtime??!!! why not just mens left shoe only???!

I have stopped shopping there now too as their customer care is non existent, shame as sometimes the items i would have bought add up to well over £150...! Oh well...!

Lol at the 'left shoe only' comment!

Yeah, seriously, I don't shop there anymore. They seem to have no idea about competition, and they may say they don't care if people don't like the fact that they don't do codes, but have they actually stopped to think of the amount of customers they are losing?? Why don't they do the maths??

When I was new on this board, some woman had a go at me for me bemoaning the fact that I wasn't going to buy from somewhere (can't remember where) as they never offered codes (it was probably ASOS!) and I remember asking her why she bothered to come here at all if she wasn't interested in codes? In fact I remember she called me "stupid" or something. And whereas I know that no one is obliged to offer codes, I simply won't shop somewhere if other stores ARE doing codes! Just look at Oasis, Warehouse, Dorothy P, and Miss Selfridge! The former 2 are constantly offering 20% off, and the latter offer free delivery almost permanently now!

    I know where I'd rather shop :-)

Figleaves also offer free returns- and only £2 P&P. I just wish they sold more than underwear and swimwear!
Figleaves are great! I notice though that ASOS are now starting to stock some of the underwear that Figleaves sell. Is ASOS just going to expand until they have everything??? Like Tescos!

I have ordered from ASOS this week (first time in ages). I'd been looking at some things for a month or so but waited determined for an offer. 20% off brands this week only. No code needed - the reductions are already visible on the website.

I am in two minds about ASOS. I say this because if I have ever had to return an item its always been handled well. Have noticed now though that they only exchange for a different size of the same item. Otherwise they refund you (minus delivery charge of course) and make you reorder so in effect you are paying delivery twice which is shameful on behalf of ASOS.

However I once ordered an item for next day delivery . Before I even knew it was going to be late I received an email from ASOS letting me know it was going to be one day late. They also refunded the delivery charge in full and gave me a 10% discount code to use off my next order! (Which by the way I will post after I have used it in case it is not generic!) I thought that was excellent service form ASOS - especially as the package turned up on time in the end!

  • Anyone know when the 20% discount ends? How annoying it says for a week but doesn't say when the week started!

montymud when do you think you will be ordering?
