    This is exactly right!

I ordered an £18 item on one order, paid £8

    A £28 order on second, paid £18

I wasn't issued a code, who cares I've spent almost £30 that I wasn't intending on spending with them, and if the code had worked today I was eyeing up another item at £34.99 so they would have got another £25 off me.

They were both items I wanted, didn't need but the saving was good, thats what this site is about moneysaving! Nothing illegal took place, the codes were accepted asos could have pulled it at any time if they wanted.

    Thanks OP :T

Agreed, I spent a lot of money with ASOS yesterday. I spent a lot more than I have with them in a year.

In fact when I worked out what I had bought from ASOS yesterday, Single items by the time I had taken the £10 off were only £3-4 cheaper than I could have got else where.

I'm not complaining at all, but the code encouraged me to spend a lot of money! lol

St Tropez set £25 bought for £15
    and
    YSL Touch e'clat £22 bought for £12

Little bit gutted I didn't see the gorgeous dress somebody posted earlier - I suppose I've saved money there as I won't HAVE to have a night out to wear it! lol

    I'm happy anyway :)

6 out of 10 orders dispatched - wish they'd hurry up and dispatch the nice things I ordered for me instead of focusing on the xmas prezzies I ordered! Still, can't complain after all these bargains! They could send them in 2 months time and I'd still be over the moon!
That is just plain greedy......it's people acting like this spoil it for everyone else who just appreciates a Glitch and places 1 order..........?????:(

It appears the good folk at ASOS aren't IT experts either.

I wish people would get off their high horse. The fact is, whether you use the code once, or 10 times, the code blatantly WASN'T yours to use..

Making 10 orders hasn't ruined it for everyone else at all. ASOS weren't going to run the code forever and would eventually catch on. People need to be fast, this forum is called 'Grabbit while you can', which people have done. No problems!

I think your post is a little bit unfair as this is a grabbit board so if one person managed to get in 10 orders before the code got cut off then thats not their fault it got cut off as someone earlier in the post said its down to the the fact that no-one except the people who had delayed orders, etc were meant to use this code and people ordered when they werent supposed to so this is why it got cut off, too many orders using a code that was only meant for certain people.

The other point i think to remember here is that people are here to save money so 10 orders im guessing 'felineprincess' saved a whole heap of money buying things she needed and if you only ordered one thing then its probably because you only needed 1 thing (again not her fault)

I dont think anyone should feel like they should be ashamed they have used the code as that is what the grabbit board is about - grabbing a bargain.

I hate all the nastiness that seems to have crept into this thread. People are here for a bargain so let them get their bargain without trying to make them feel bad about it
  • I used the code loads :D

I also told my mates about it too :D

However, as a single mother that gets made redundant in a week, Ive pretty much got Christmas sorted, oh and some new clothes actually for myself for the first time in a VERY long time.

Do I feel guilty??? Do i heck. Granted, its a shame the code didnt work for everyone, or people didnt get everything they needed, but I'd do a hell of a lot more than use a code that was freely posted on the internet, to make sure my family got as decent a Christmas as possible

exactly! If the code was limited to the first 100 orders or something then making multiple orders would be greedy. But this code wasnt limited to the number of orders made, it was limited based on how long it took asos took to fix the glitch. So if it took asos 12 hours to fix the glitch then it doesnt matter if everyone made just 1 order each or if they made 10 orders each. Asos would have been alerted to the glitch pretty quick regardless of how many orders each person made because there would have been a massive increase in orders compared to a normal day even if people just made one order each
