    Before they can serve a bankruptcy petition on your husband, they should have previously served a "statutory demand" on him.

    Basically, that is a formal demand for payment and legal notice that they may serve a petition after 21 days.

    A proper statutory demand should look like this and use this official form...

    but the letter i recieved yesterday was off Pheonix Claims.
