I have either made the day of a group of lads playing footie on the hill behind our flat or I have scarred them for life... Was stripping off for quick shower in preparation for tonight while Nathan naps. Third floor flat so you'd think no problem to have curtains open right? Wrong! They got a full frontal and rear view before I realised they could see me:o:o:o:eek::o:o:o

Dear Mr Chairman
I currently owe your bank £50k. However, I no longer have an income following the help that your bank failed to give me during my final days as a sole trader. I have therefore called your Indian automated call centre daily to arrange to make my payment arrangement of £1 per month for the next 600 years.
Despite my persistent calls I am constantly bombarded with computer generated letters that tell me I am ignoring your requests to pay this debt off.
Twice, some speccy four eyed bank manager has made an appointment to telephone me, the first time was whilst I was still in business and so as to save the embarressment of informing the [STRIKE]whole of Leicester [/STRIKE] one customer who would probably walk in just as I was admitting to my failure I closed the shop....Obviously the manager lost my phone number as he didn't call.
Today at 4pm was the second appt......I am still waiting.
I am assuming therefore you are not really serious about negotiating with me over this debt so lets just call it quits huh!
Yours sincerely

I'm trying to read the 12 week plan but my milk monster thinks it's hilarious to BASH the keys on my keyboard and then she scrolls up and down... it's giving me a headache!DFW Nerd Club #545 Dealing With Our Debt

Oooh, in the email! I don't think I get it though, I must have forgotten to update my email address to it.
Bookie, that really isn't on, they're messing you about so much. Wonder what his bosses would think about him being so indifferent to a big account like that? It's not doing them or you any good with it just hanging.
Snaggles, ignore him, don't let him reel you in again.
I'm back from college, I've enrolled on.......
............ GCSE Italian. :rotfl:
It was the only course they had spaces left on! We went through all the A levels, they were either full or I had them already. The woman interviewing me was so impressed with my previous A level results that she went to try and talk Sociology into squeezing me in, but they couldn't. So I'm on the waiting list, but there's 20 people ahead of me. There's 5 classes, which is about 125 students, so I need about a fifth of them to drop out, which is unlikely. It's a bit annoying, part time registration only opened last week so I'm surprised it's already full. On the other hand though I only found out there was somewhere offering adult education A levels a couple of days ago, so I'm no worse off than before. I'll just have to register early next year! And at least I missed the 'key skills' argument - no way am I doing them. I have AS maths, I'm doing an English degree, and have (admittedly by now obsolete) computer certificates.
I got the impression that admissions weren't used to dealing with someone who just wants to learn for learning's sake, she suggested I try HE, and didn't really know what to say when I told her I'm doing 2 OU degrees.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
