I contacted their team but failed to get any useful information from them.

I have been told that my billing date (each month) is the 6th day

BUT, my new set of inclusive minutes starts on the 4th of each month. Weird!

So when does my billing cycle end and when does it start?

Usually when someone tells you that your billing date is lets say 5th of each month that’s when your new monthly allowance starts and your billing cycle ends on the 5th of each month.

So what’s happening here?

Hello, it's me again. :) From your information, it would seem that your inclusive allowance will begin from the 4th of each month and end on the 3rd of the following month.

If the billing cycle for you begins on the 6th of each month, it should finish on the 5th of the following month. (This is not necessarily linked to the start and finish of your inclusive allowance)

Like kaz250 said, wait until the first bill arrives then it should answer your questions. (I am assuming you haven't had your first bill yet and eager to put in the dates of when your bill comes to put in your claim. ;))

 ummm I'm not an expert on this bit. I think it just means a certain time of the month for when the bills will be printed and sent off to their customers. For example they might print off the customers' bills in batches, so in your case it would be the 6th of each month, rather than having to print off each individuals' bill everyday (which would cost more to them to do this, imo). If you are lucky enough (or manage to connect to the network in time for when the new billing cycle starts, then in some cases it might mean the start/restart of your inclusive allowance.

I just got my 1st bill. Very confusing. Online its showing as next bill date as 6th June 2006 but on the bill for the 1 month in advance payment, its showing it for period 8/05/06 - 7/06/06 meaning next bill date is the 8th June.

so what the hell does this mean?

The date, 6th June 2006 is when your next bill will be physically be added to their printing system to be produced and sent out to you.

You always pay 1 month in advance for the deal (line rental and other additional extras you may have decided to have) that you took out initially with the company i.e. CPW in your case. In this bill, your inclusive allowance for the first month will start on the 8th May 2006 and end on the 7th of June 2006.

Calls/text or other usage that are not inclusive of your monthly allowance made during the 8/05/06-7/06/06 may be displayed and you will have to pay for these in the next bill.

On the 8th June 2006 your inclusive allowance will restart and end until the of the 7th July and so on.... not forgetting that for the 6th of each month your bill will be sent to the printing system.

02 your provider gives your inclusive minutes on the 6th of every month, however the cpw billing system is about 48 hours behind .... so they receive your billing information from 02 2 days later and thus your billing period is 8th - 7th of every month. If ur contract was directly from o2 and not via cpw then ur billing date will be the same as the day u receive ur inclusive minutes.
