It may or may not be true, but if it is it will be a total amount per day

Ok well now i understand it and know what i need to do. I have heard (could be wrong) that the maximum amount of money you can take out of a branch is £1,200...is that true? Does that mean i can only lift that amount out per day or could i visit more than one branch in the same day and lift the money out?
£1,200 a day in cash. You can get a bankers draft for unlimited amounts.

But you can't transact on your ISA in the branch. It's a telephone account.
  • What if i withdrew the money straight into my current account using the halifax website? Surely then it is in my bank account and i could use a bankers draft?
