Thanks for that Pip26 - I only just came across this thread looking for information on UFO Books for my OH.

OneaDay - I'm certainly convinced that UFOs are real and probably visitors from other planets or dimensions. My husband is well into it and showed me the evidence. Anybody who spends 30 minutes looking into the evidence will be convinced too.

Searching for the book you mentioned I came across loads of fascinating links to books at this website UFO Sightings that other open minded or convinced people might be interested in.

And if the unidentified flying object happens to be a silent black triangle the size of two tennis courts that cruised slowly 30ft over your house at 1.00 in the morning as happened to a friend of mine would you not regard it as mighty strange?

Just like ghosts, if I ever see an alien spacecraft I would be terrified yet fascinated at the same time.

If you only spend 30 minutes looking at the evidence of anything, it would convince you. Give me the single best piece of evidence that you have saying they are real. I'm certainly interested.

    hmm... intriguing.

I've been into ufology forever although very much my dads influence. We have certainly seen interesting things :) Cheers for that. Anyone who thinks that the only life is on this planet is seriously stupid :)

Babyboo, how can you mean "Anyone who thinks that the only life is on this planet is seriously stupid"? An Ad-Homenem (look it up) attack is not really called for. I myself belive that there is life on other planets, but not necessarily that they are visiting us in UFOs, as the interstellar distances are too great.
Also, just because somebody believes something, doesn't mean they;re stupid. I am an atheist, but I don't consider people that believe in God are stupid. I am a vegetarian, but I don't believe meat eaters are stupid.
Everybody has their own point of view. Please consider changing your post above.

    hmm... intriguing.
