You can substitute it for milk with a drop of vinegar incase you can't find it

You could buy buttermilk from Sainsburys a few years ago , not sure if they still stock it. Good luck.0

Skimmed milk soured with some Lemon juice is what we use.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0

Just to concur with the others - I've bought it in Tesco and Sainsbury before - but it is hidden away in the cream or creme fraiche.
If you can't find it - ask a SA - they should know if they stock it.Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??:mad:Debt Free as of September 2011 :jSealed Pot 2009 number 334 - £100 Saved! yey!!Sealed Pot 2010 number 334 - £116.51 Saved! Yey!! YIPPEE!!0 -
I use this when making nigellas coca cola cake and always have trouble getting it - sainsbury and waitrose are the only two that i have found it in.
It usually has a good two weeks date on it when i buy so usually grab two.0 -
our sainsburys sell it'We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time0

I get it in larger sainsburys or asda stores. Morrisons is a bit of a trek but they always seem to have it too.0
