Sometimes going cheap can hurt the environment. This board's been set up to counter that. How do you live life the MoneySaving way, but protect our planet too?

    .... .

Interestingly, on the radio recently, Bill Clinton was quoted as saying that global warming is a far greater risk than terrorism!!

Everyone needs to do their bit and that can only happen with the sharing of information, ways and means.

Is it possible to have the Cleaning Recipe Index linked to as a sticky in this forum too, please?

Mmmm, bet he doesn't spend anywhere near as much on enviromental things as on terrorism.

Cleaning Index? :rotfl: I think you could pick up most of the OS thread and dump it in here :D

Yes, because "terrorism", like "McCarthyism", is a concept largely invented by the American government as a means of staying in office.

Now we might be having less of an effect on the temperature of our planet than some suggest, but it cannot be worth taking the risk. And the use of our natural resources is a completely separate reason for trying to live in a less selfish manner - no-one can argue that these are infinite.

  • OMG  Thanks Martin. I totally forgot about this.
  • Well done, that man!

I am delighted to find this. I have long struggled with being frugal without resorting to buying cheap stuff made by kids in third world countries, or the cheapest apples from Asda that happen to come from New Zealand. Fantastic.:D
