Tiles to go with Cream Gloss and Walnut worktops?

Im having a bit of design dilemma over my kitchen. Originally the plan was cream gloss with black sparky worktops and black brick tiles, cream floor.
I am now thinking of having a walnut worktop with walnut feature doors on some of the lower units. I now do not know what tiles to go for on the walls. (Floor will be cream). I thought about cream tiles but feel it will all be too "samey". I do like quite striking looks and am brave with colour.
Any suggestions?
Cheers

Hello
I have cream gloss units and a walnut effect worktop and walnut flooring. I have cream tiles, with a brown tile as a border (it's nicer than it sounds!!) and i've painted the walls cream. I'm planning to throw a bit of colour in by getting a picture for the dinning end and matching this colour with accessories at the kitchen end. I'm thinking a shocking green or pink would go nice against the dark wood theme. Still looking for the picture to get me started though0 -

Definitely stick with the walnut features. The black contrast look is very striking but I think it will look dated in a few years when fashions change!
Re. the wall tiles, just choose something you really like and will be happy to live with for a good few years. A mix of 2, 3 or 4 colours will give you plenty of scope to change your accessories, blinds, wall paint etc.
The cream/walnut combination will look nice with almost any colour scheme (except blue, perhaps?). Cream/beige/russet or red/cream/gold?"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0 -
Have any colour you like. The cream, black, walnut are neutrals really - nothing will clash with them. Pull the colour in different places with accessories as well as the splashback - blinds, utensils etc.
Hot pink glass splashback is the order of the day! Think about different textures though, you already have gloss and matt with the worktop but if you had a lot of gloss, you might choose matt tiles to give depth, vice versa liven up wood doors and tops with something more reflective.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

My boyfriends got beige/cream tiles. To go with it he bought a slightly Glittery brown to match. Hes got them in his bathroom hes used mainly beige but has got a line of brown down the middle of the bath from top to bottom and the other side (despite the slight glitter it looks really manly)0

I'd go for something natural and earthy, such as a brick or terracotta tile. That would tone with the warm colours but bring colour, and give a contrasting texture to gloss.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0
