my old isp titan-adsl.co.uk gives you a static ip or look here for more providers http://www.dslzoneuk.net/isp_ratings.php0

there are some home broadband ISP's provide free static IP address. one of them is madasafish and they provide good service0

How often does your IP change? If you leave the router on permanently it would be rare for it to release and re-assign it elsewhere. How easy would it be for the company to amend your fixed IP if you were to tell them the current one, then update it should the floating IP change at some point in future0

I think www.no-ip.com offers some sort of static (what you want) to dynamic (what you have) IP service off the top of my head, but can't check right now...0

You can buy a static IP from your ISP (depending on who it is).
Usually about £5 per month. Speak to them.0 -
Let us know the details for your money making scheme too :-)0

Try webhostingtalk.com and asking providers directlyPaul_Varjak wrote: »My IP address changes automatically every 72 hours; I think this is pretty well industry standard.0 -

The problem is (as explainmed in my original post) the premium rate phone provider can only point at an IP address (not a domain name). In effect, I need a fixed IP address that can point at my floating IP address! I do not think that possible!!!0
